“I had my Certified Service Dog with me, and the greeting was chilly. According to the proprietor, Service Dogs, in the past had been problematic in the restaurant. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was great. I had pork chops, mac & cheese, greens, and red beans, and rice. The red beans were sweet, not the savory that I was expecting. Peach cobbler was good. Better as a leftover. By the end of the meal, the proprietor had come by to tell us how well-behaved my dog had been throughout the meal. I would go back again.“
“Shared some sweet potato/pecan pie, it was perfection. Came for the dessert, on advice of a college student who doesn't like to cook all the time. I'll be back for more as lots of people getting full meals. Budget friendly and delicious southern style food. Wanted to try the special Oxtails but probably next time. Its hidden in the basement of the old post office, support a locals restaurant.“
