Sports Bar and Lounge at the Atlantis

We have been coming to the Atlantis for years from BC and love it! Such a perfect getaway - every time. We love the luxury tower where we can enjoy the city lights at night. The rooms are spotlessly clean - the housekeepers are amazing - I unfortunately didn’t get names this time but will next - the person who answers the phone in housekeeping is always so nice and friendly - I promise to get names next time but I thank you. One name I do have is Tana Cole - manager of reservations I believe. She has been so amazingly helpful over the years - always so kind. During the pandemic I must have reserved and cancelled half a dozen times with the border being closed and all the rest of the turmoil. She was always patient and understanding- absolutely the best! Thank you Tana for all the you do for your guests. My wish list - notepads and pens back in the room - we like to leave a daily tip and note for housekeeping s d please consider putting the cheeseburger back on the bar bites menu in the Sports Bar - our go to the night we arrive.

I commend Atlantis' table games, especially their craps tables and dealers. A highlight is the work of Linden Haught, a table games supervisor, as he makes the entire gaming experience fun and exciting. I note he carefully monitors the craps players, ensuring all feel welcome, while maintaining civility and conviviality in a very noisy, boisterous social game.

I normally don't request housekeeping during a short trip, but wanted a few mini water bottles and coffee pods since I was staying 4 nights. Housekeeping seemed to go over and beyond by adding small touches like placing some of my toiletries on a laid out wash cloth, leaving a mini water bottle on my bedside table, and extra stocking the coffee pods I was drinking. This was on Tuesday, November 15th on 6 floor of the Atlantis tower, if you can give a shoutout/recognition to whoever was working that day. You can see this person goes the extra mile for guest.

Really enjoyed my stay -- the guest rooms were oversized, including the bathroom, which was fantastic. I was worried about the casino smelling heavily of smoke and my clothes picking it up, but that was not the case at all. I ate at several of the restaurants and all were fantastic!

This was the worst hotel stay of my life so far. My husband and I were staying overnight for his best friend's birthday. The next morning we got up and he took a bath. He drained the tub and we were getting ready to start our day when we got three phone calls in a row. On the third answer it was the front desk telling us we had a leak in our room. While we were still on the phone a maintenance man was at our door. We weren't dressed or ready for him to enter our room to check. We quickly dressed and he stuck his head in our room to see if there was any leaks or water. My husband was trying to tell him there was no water running at the time and we had just drained a bath so the leak must be in the pipes. He insisted that it was our fault and that we had left the bath on to overflow. The manager my husband spoke to wasn't any better. They finally entered our room to check and found nothing. The manager of the hotel offered to buy us breakfast and waved the resort fee ($50) for any inconvenience this caused us. Needless to say our trip was already ruined. Two weeks later my husband gets an additional $250 charge to his credit card for room damage. There was no damage when we checked out. When we both spoke to the manager about this he was unwavering and blamed us for this event. We are honest people and would never ruin a hotel room. We will never be back and are telling everyone we know about this to save them from making the same mistake we did when we booked a room at The Atlantis.

Even though the facility is going through renovations, my three-night stay was perfect. My room was clean, the bed super-comfortable. I did enjoy a swim in the outdoor pool which was comfortably warm but not so warm that I couldn’t swim laps for 40 minutes. Room service is prompt. All hotel services are accessed via smart tv. I’ll stay there again.

I went to the Atlantis with a couple of long-time friends for a sports weekend. We spent most of our time in the Sportsbook watching/wagering on the horse races/football games. The Sports Book manager, Dawn, took great care of us & the staff were all very accomodating & friendly. Our room was very nice & clean as always. We had a hostess, Menchie, who checked in with us daily to see if there was anything she could do for us. She arranged VIP passes, players cards & had us all checked in upon arrival. We will be going back in March for the 1st two rounds of the NCAA Basketball Tourney & plan to continue to make 2 visits every year. I couldn't be happier to visit The Atlantis as often as possible - first class in every way!

There is no better place to stay in Reno than the Atlantis, from the moment you walk in the doors, you are greeted by smiles and happy employees. Nothing but kindness and they go out of there way to help you, even if it is just trying to find an exit at the Crab Feed! I'm sorry I don't know your name, but you know who you are! Kudos to everyone there! I want to mention my VIP host Menchie Espiritu, who goes above and beyond to make sure our stay is perfect in every way. Thank you so much Menchie, we are so appreciative. We played cards, played slots, ate fabulous food, and then slept in the most comfortable bed! We never have a bad experience! Also would like to thank Rosa and Hedda in the VIP lounge, you two are amazing. Thank you for all you do for us, we always look forward to seeing you and love our chats! It was an enjoyable weekend and we will see you soon! Thank you again!

The poker room and tournament atmosphere was fun and easy going, good pace kept by the dealers. The property was clean and lots of activities spread out throughout. Next time I'm in reno I'll definitely be staying here!

My hubby and I truly enjoyed our two nights stay in the resort for our 44th anniversary celebration. Grateful to our host Menchie who is quite pleasant to deal with and always available to assist in any way. Looking forward to our future visits to Atlantis Resort. Flordeliza & Edmundo Salcedo

It was great! The friendliest and most helpful employees. We are locals and this was a nice experience. Oyster bar and Sushi bar are the best! Pool and jacuzzi were exceptionally clean no matter what time we went.

The whole stay was pleasant. The employees were great. We had to wait for our room on check in, because it wasn't ready. There wasn't enough gambling tables available. Certain table had a waiting list where people were playing two hands. If there is a waiting list, people should not be allowed to hold two spots.
