This Reno Subway was sub-standard in several ways, but the sandwiches tasted ok (and we didn't get sick) so assigning 2 stars. Located off the Riverwalk, so lots of foot traffic in the area. Its very small and tight inside and must go up steps to enter. We were there on 4th of July and it was super busy and only 1 guy working. Also AC wasn't working right so hot & stuffy inside.

This Subway location is very nice and very clean. I love this sandwiches they are very reasonably priced. But the only problem I had last time I was here is the person that was working put very little Meats on my sandwich when I asked to please I have extra meat and when I asked for very little lettuce see put way too much and I told her no onions or pickles at all she did not listen to me and put extra onions and pickles on my sandwich. And when I got my sandwich and saw how little meat and how much lettuce and onions or on my sandwich I took it back. And ask her to please what do you make my sandwich to my specification. when I got home I called and asked to speak to the manager and it was just a waste of time they would not do anything about it at all. this was not the first time I had problems at this location. So with that being said I will not be coming back to this location.

If I could give this Subway -10 stars, I would have. Don't waste your time or money coming to this location. You're better off driving the extra mile for a Subway sandwich that doesn't include attitude, small portions, and overall rude customer service experience. The employee actually put ONE slice of ham on half a side and NONE on the other! I was mind-blown at how greedy they are. This employee was also very rude for no reason, constantly giving me eye rolls whenever I chose an extra. To top it all off, their toaster didn't even work, and instead they offered to just microwave it. Seriously, this Subway is a complete joke.

Historically, this downtown Subway was one of those sandwich shops where you could count on consistent brand quality, convenience, and price. Unfortunately, it has changed over the past few years, and not for the better. The quality of the food is unremarkable, which actually is the best thing this location has in its favor. I mean, it's Subway. You know what you're getting, and that is the way it should be for chain restaurants. On occasion the flash cook oven will go out for a month or more (not exaggerating), which is an annoyance if you like your sandwich toasted, but other than that, you're getting a Subway sandwich as you expected it to be. Now, you may have to wait for 30+ minutes to get the sandwich made (again, not exaggerating), and that frustration will likely outweigh any enjoyment you might expect from the sandwich itself. During the lunch rush, it is not uncommon to see only one person manning the restaurant. And, after having visited this location many times, I can tell you that this person does not work quickly. God help you if an ingredient runs out and needs replenishing before your sandwich is completed. It will be another 5 to 10 minutes before the sandwich assembly process starts up again. In the meantime, you'll check your email several times and curse to yourself as your relaxing lunch break suddenly turns into a sprint back to the office with a sandwich in a bag that you didn't have time to eat. The lack of adequate staffing also results in a lack of cleanliness, which is something another reviewer noticed. The seating area is generally unkempt, which, like the non-moving queue, made me want to forage elsewhere. On top of that, during my most recent (and hopefully final) visit, the sole worker did not change gloves consistently between performing transactions and preparing sandwiches. At that point, even though there were only two people in front of me, I decided the pizza across the street was a better option. Epilogue: After leaving the line, I walked across the street, ordered food, paid for food, and was walking back to my office before the person previously in front of me at Subway was even served.

Dumpy, extremely slow, busy day and one guy working. Bathroom disgusting for a food establishment.

Young employees, immature to say the least. They make an okay sandwich. Their soda was expired and they don't accept American Express. Since I'm out of town that's important to me.

This is probably the worst Subway I've ever been to. I came here with my best friend to have a veggie delite. We were concerned when we noticed they do not change their gloves after making other sandwiches as my friend is allergic to all dairy products. Also, the food inventory was very messy and mixed together. For example; there was cheese mixed up with the lettuce. She was not able to eat here because of these factors. The woman who made my sandwich was very rude and lackadaisical while making my sandwich, she OVERFILLED It completely with spinach and the sauce wasn't evenly distributed on my sandwich. About 2 inches of my sandwich was nothing but mustard and nothing else.

The owners son made me feel uncomfortable hitting on me when I was looking at the menu for their Thanksgiving sandwich I saw a commercial for and a new condiment the had (this was during my Reno trip in October) . After a short while i start to smell a funky souring smell. The lighting is VERY dim and being that this was in the evening it was quite dark seedy NOT romantic. I also mentioned that I called to find out if they had the Thanksgiving commercial special and was forwarded to the VM 3X and they guy said I could have his personal cell phone, to call in the future. I chuckled and left laughing without purchase This place reminds me of a NYC Subway Station. Gritty, Grimmy, Gross!
