We used Great Greek to cater my husband’s birthday party for 22 people. They were professional, right on time delivering hot food and all the guests raved about the food especially the lamb/beef gyro meat and the kabobs, both chicken and beef…really tender. Portions were way bigger than I thought. Whole heartedly recommend.

Was very impressed! The food was great and fresh. The only thing that I felt could be better was the pita. It was ok, but nothing special. Gyro meat was great and they give good portions.

Glad to have a Greek spot in South Reno. Definitely going to be coming back here!

Unfortunately the service here is a hit or miss. The blonde woman with the blk strand in her hair is extremely rude.

I came in for an online order and clearly stated “no rush” but here’s my name on the order. She says “it’ll be out shortly” I sit directly in front of the cashier counter where orders are delivered facing the entrance.
I respect food workers having been one myself previously, so I waited patiently. Time passed and I decided to look at my messages to see if my order was ready since I never heard my name. I get up and see it on the back counter while she’s restocking the back bar on the opposite side. I asked excuse me, can I have my food now it’s been ready mins ago. She says immediately right after “then ask for it”. As she gives me my bag without an apology or even acknowledging that she completely forgot.
Obviously I did ask for it, since I had to ask you for it. I can’t walk behind the counter and grab my own food. That’s your job if I’m not mistaken.
Should I have harassed you instead to make my food faster? Or be that person that makes an order online and expects it in 2mins or less? Obviously NOT
Instead, I sat and waited to hear my name. And unless I got up to look I probably would have sat there another 10mins waiting for my salad.
If you don’t like your job and can’t execute simple services that paying customers pay for then maybe reconsider a job with no customer interaction.

Anyway good luck to anyone else that eats here as the service is inconsistent. Which is unfortunate the kitchen does a great job. That’s why I didn’t request a refund. Front of house tho needs an attitude adjustment.

Best Greek food around! Their gyro meat is soooo good and falafel is perfectly seasoned. Perfect little side salads with every plate order. We just had the baklava ice cream (with the dessert sampler) for the first time night and it's definitely addictive. This is now our go-to for Greek food in Reno. Highly recommend for lunch, dinner, or whenever.

Super great experience at the Great Greek and wonderful to have an additional option in South Reno! I took my kids and they loved both the gyro and souvlaki kids plates. Also..baklava ice cream was a huge hit! Definitely going back!

I wish I could give this place 5 stars but unfortunately my experiences here have been too inconsistent. When this place first opened a few months ago my husband and I were going here 3-5 times per week because the food was amazing and the portion sizes were great! This restaurant chain is one of our FAVORITES in Las Vegas!! So when we saw they were in Reno we were so excited!! It started off FANTASTIC! Then over the course of the last 6 weeks everything has completely fallen apart. Six weeks ago my husband went in by himself for lunch and they gave him half the size portion they normally do, so he figured it was just a fluke. The following week we went in together and had a great experience. Then three weeks ago we came in for lunch and ordered the same thing we always do, a Great Greek Gyro and a Chicken Gyro. The amount of meat in my husbands gyro was half of what it normally is. So he mentioned it to the manager who went back to weigh the food and he came out and told my husband was correct. So they fixed it. No big deal. We gave it another try last week and this time it seemed the portion sizes were almost back to normal, but the girl working the counter was not very friendly. No big deal. So we order a to go pick up order tonight and get our food home. I only had 2 bite sized chunks of chicken in my gyro (maybe 1.5-2 ounces), 1/4 of the amount of veggies on it, and so much tzatziki sauce the pita bread was wet on my hands and falling apart. It was so light on fillings that the bread was almost flat like a quesadilla. My husband’s gyro had about 1/3 of the meat it should have and was also drowning in sauce.

Unfortunately, we are no longer going to be customers. We have gone from ordering 3-5 times a week to never ordering again. We work hard for our money and would be happy to spend it here if the restaurant would take the time to make sure their associates are trained properly to deliver a consistent product and experience.

My favorite Greek Fast Food in Reno! The only place in town to get Lamb Souvlaki. Medium Rare of course! Most places only have lamb beef kebab combo. They use Australian lamb chunks! The only thing that would make this place better is a location in NW Reno to shorten my drive....
