Enjoyed the ambience and view from the patio. The food was wonderful. Our server Madi was excellent. She was attentive, informative about specials, friendly and efficient. We had an excellent lunch. It was my birthday and I loved it.
We've been coming here the past 12 years and sometimes it has been disappointing. But I'm pleased to report that the new chef has some outstanding options. Last night we had the fish & chips and the salmon in puff pastry. Being from England, my husband is very fussy about his fish & chips but raved about them last night. I loved the salmon in puff pastry - it looked just like a beef wellington. The service was attentive & pleasant and the manager...
It was fairly quiet there when we went to lunch. The service was very good. My husband wanted to try the fish and chips because its hard to find good 'English style' beer-battered fish. He liked them & even though he's very fussy about his fish & chips he rated it around a 7 out of 10 which is a good rating from him. We both thought the sweet potato french fries were very tasty.
