Says its closed for spring break. It's been that way at least since middle of last month...made several trips from fernley to go here. Internet says open. Very disappointed.

Always a great experience when we visit. The food and tea is delicious and the staff are so friendly, helpful and on top of it! I also highly recommend the Figgy Piggy sandwich, it's so good!!

Went for story time and painting, it was fun! I loved that my four-year-old could finger paint and make a mess and it wasn't at my house :) There is coffee and food, and prices were good! It's my new go-to place to meet for a play date and coffee with other moms.

Great place and a great idea! For $4 they read stories for our kids, did crafts and arts with them, and played games with them while we were able to enjoy breakfast and coffee. Best babysitting breakfast experience you can have! And all proceeds for the babysitting and tips go to a cause to help other kids. All around great place!!!

Great place to hang out while the little ones are occupied. They have story time and craft everyday -- twice a day, plus a play corner with books and toys.

The Lucky Childe commercial shows a healthy salad prep. However, the prep person is not wearing gloves.

My time at the lucky childe was full of happy faces and a amazing staff. The guy reading for story time was full of energy and was really good with my kid, and the girls in the back that made my coffee and food did an amazing job. All around a really good experience and if your looking for a nice place you can go have lunch with your kids I would definitely give them a visit.

I have mixed feelings about this place. It's a great idea and there is a lot of potential. I wanted to let my kid play while I had an hour of uninterrupted adult conversation, and I got that. It has a kid's menu and toys on the tables and a little corner with a rug with books and toddler toys. For the activity, one of the girls read a short book and then the kids did a paper craft. It took about 10 minutes.

Loved that place! Coffee and activities for your kids. The food was delicious. One of the staff members was so Nice, knowledgeable, explained how the place/activities works (be back with her name). They have mac & cheese which my son was a little concerned of eating it bcz wasnt the usual M&C noodle type (that I make for him). But I ate the rest of it . There's a small play area... but that doesn't mean you should just let your kid go wild. One eye on your coffee and another on your kid (just saying). ONE OTHER LITTLE THING, kids are messy. With toys, food... clean a little or leave a tip on the table. I mean... 😁

I took my twin 2 1/2 grandsons here for a Sunday 10 am story time and craft session. The craft was fun and there was plenty of supplies to get creative. However, I would suggest the story teller be a little more expressive and louder. It was as if she did not want to be there and just went through the pages without any interaction. We could hardly hear her even though we were sitting close. Maybe I just attended on an off day, but I expected more excitement. Therefore, the kids (not just mine) weren't really into it. I think it is a great concept and will be back, I just think the story could be more fun.

Went in for our first visit today for story time, craft, and then hanging out playing with toys and other kiddos. It was a great experience! My 11 1/2 month old loved playing with toys on the carpet and felt very comfortable with the other kids; which says a lot because he was overwhelmed to the point of tears at Gymboree (nothing against Gymboree - it was just too overwhelming for my little guy right now - we'll try again soon). The staff here was extremely friendly and very welcoming. We're thrilled to have found this cafe / Starbucks hang-out space for little kiddos! We're making this at least a weekly outing; if not more frequently than that!

My first experience here was absolutely amazing. Friendly and relaxing. The second time I came here was horrible for lack of a better word. Everyone changed their attitude and all of the sudden had strict rules. We arrived at 10:04 for story time and craft. I walked in to purchase and they informed me they wouldn't sale me a ticket because it was after 10. Which would have been fine if it was full. The "class" was not full and my daughters friends were in the class. The staff knows my daughter is standing there wanting to do a craft with her friend while the multiple crafts sit there unused the entire time and they won't let her. (As a tear runs down her cheek by the way) Seems crazy. What happened to the sweet flexible people from my first trip. You would think the place would like to make more money. I would have paid for the multiple crafts plus drinks and maybe a snack for myself and my kids but I ended up with a bad taste in my mouth and didn't purchase a thing. Can't say if I'll be back or not. I understand rules but a place that caters towards kids I'd think be a bit more flexible. I drove from south Reno specifically to enjoy our morning here. Didn't happen.

Checked out this place for the first time this morning. It is super cute and clean. The staff is very friendly - Barb sat on a bean bag & chatted with me for a little bit, while I sat next to my 1.5 year old and he played with the toys. Barb was so friendly that I asked her if she was the owner, lots of places lack friendliness/customer service nowadays. The food and drink menu sounds delicious, I didn't try anything because it was a last minute decision to check this place out before we headed to an appointment. I will definitely be back and will try the food next time. This place is nice because I have two toddlers and not many places are targeted at toddlers- more for older kiddos. So I'll definitely be back with both my kiddos!!
