It's not as crowded as the midtown location, so you can easily find a nice table even on weekends. I ordered the UltiMelt sandwich and the staff was kind enough to customize it to my liking. The sandwich was delicious, and the fries were fresh and tasty as well.

FOOD So far, I really like the foods Poutine and Eggs Benedict. I've also ordered sourdough pancakes and those were great too. I'd heard of "Poutine" before on an episode of Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives tv show (probably wasn't regarding 2 Chicks restaurant from what I remember), but never had it before. I completely enjoyed it. SERVICE Service has been wonderful in the two visits I have made. AMBIANCE Although I've commenting in the 2ChicksSouth Yelp! account, I'm commenting on both the Midtown location (1st visit) and the South location (2nd visit). It could have been the day and time I went (Sunday at ~10:00) but there was a short wait and I had to find parking ~block away (short walk) for Midtown's location. At South, I parked almost in front of the door on a Saturday @09:20. When I left, there were now customers waiting (small crowd). I'll go back someday soon as I like eating and I like breakfast/lunch.

Two Chicks is always a great breakfast restaurant when you can get in. On Sunday mornings it's usually a line out the door and they close at 2:00 so you have to get there early. We drove by on Sunday both the South Reno and the midtown locations and it was standing room only so we decided to try today, a Monday. We were very happy to walk in and be seated immediately. The special today was Irish eggs Benedict which we tried and the poppy seed french toast with eggs and sausage. We treated ourselves to a Hawaiian bloody Mary and a mimosa. The drinks were delivered quickly and we waited about 20 minutes for our meals. The plates as always are overflowing and the Irish Bene was surprisingly good. It included a large portion of corned beef and cabbage with eggs and smothered in sauce. it also included a side of a choice of potato and meat. The poppy seed french toast, four large pieces, was smothered in blueberry sauce and was absolutely delicious. It also came with a choice of egg and meat. The mimosa was a large serving and the bloody Mary was a bit spicy but you had a choice of a single or a double. Our waitress was wonderful, checking on us continuously and our plates were cleared away as soon as we indicated we were done. We did have to take some of the French toast to go but the entire brunch was delicious and very pleasant.

Wow my father is looking at real estate in the area and I hope he buys here because this place is so incredibly tasty. Firstly the mimosas are great they are not the type of restaurant that uses the supercheap champagne that taste, flat and sweet. This is crisp and brut And if you get the pancakes, make sure to ask for the peach butter that comes with a biscuit because it is tremendously amazing on the pancakes. I was grateful that one of the staff members suggested I get this particular type of butter for my pancake. The burger has avocado and a fried egg, which is one of my favorite recruitments. Excellent Angus and french fries are so on point garlic and Parmesan with some type of cucumber side dip. The Benedict was cooked well, and my husband scramble was delicious. We will definitely be back. One of the best things about this restaurant is, you won't find a sour face on any of the staff. From the folks that deliver your food to the people that see you and especially the service staff are all smiles.

The service was good. No ambiance. The food could have been better. I ordered the vegan skillet (or something) I was told it was like a stir fry, nope more like semi cooked chopped up pieces. The pea sized asparagus was raw, the white yams were not sweet, but mushy blobs. Neither of my two friends said a word about their meals, one got a burrito and the other a blta. Neither looked too appetizing to me. No parking! Had to park on the south side of the motel and walk in the wind. My friends parked to the NE, near dollar store or whatever is over there and we were there, with reservations and just before 11am.

Best breakfast we have found in Reno! And the location on Virginia across from Meadowood is super convenient. Two thumbs up for Two Chicks!! Oh, and the wait staff is EXCELLENT!!! Rhi was our server and she rocked. Very attentive.

Had a good breakfast here really. The food was tasty and satisfying. There is nothing to complain about but also nothing to write home about either.

I was a Sous Chef under Doug Nelson in Reno and I assure you that your cook did NOT fix my chicken fried steak properly. He/she grilled it exactly as I described. I judge the quality of a menu based on a couple of items. Chicken fried steak and corned beef hash being at the top of my list simply because they are so easy to screw up. My recommendation to you is to train your people on what each item is supposed to look like. If my waitress had known what a real chicken fried steak should look like it would have never reached my table. Also, the manager would have seen immediately what the problem was.

How about serving hash browns? At a breakfast place in Reno. Skip the Parmesan pre mix crap.

They have a very tasty Cobb and Chef Salad - good portions too. The Chai White Russian is an interesting drink. My wife very much enjoyed her Cranberry Mimosa with her Farmhouse Omlette too. The Elderberry Mimosa is good too!

I have been to the Midtown location a few times, but the first time here. Sunday brunch with friends, six of us. It was about a 20 minute wait for a table that size. The south location seems a lot bigger than the Midtown location. Besides the usual brunch mimosas and bloody Mary's, there were some unique cocktails that paired pretty good with breakfast. I went with a chai white Russian. A delicious spin on chai and one of my favorite cocktails. There's many choices of eggs Benedict, and the not so hungry can order a single instead of getting the usual two pieces. I really enjoyed the side of Parmesan has browns- just the right cheese and crispness. Various sandwiches and other breakfast options are on the menu. They share a parking lot with the motel they are attached to. No street parking.
