If you've been to Death and Taxes, you'll appreciate the Underworld Distillery so much more. I think their crafted mixed drinks are better than Death and Taxes, better seating and the atmosphere is great. Lots of detail went into creating the atmosphere.

The bar tender that served me was fantastic. I regret not getting her name but she knows who she is. I'll be back.

What a hidden gem we have in this middle of industrial businesses area. You don't get the extra traffic like most bars, staff is cool and drinks are strong. I didn't try the food.

Such a unique atmosphere and the staff is amazing, so fun and personable! All of the spirits are made in house so you won’t get a taste like this other places. I have already fallen in love with the Pegasus gin and have purchased my own bottle a few times. I would highly recommend getting one of their spirit flights, it’s a good price for a full flight and you get to sample a little bit of everything.

stopped by there after a friend's recommendation, really cool little bar, reminded me of the speakeasies in the French Quarter, the bartender was really friendly and attentive, we'll definitely be back , highly recommend !

A lovely little lair for libations! It was a nice quiet spot to post up after they first opened on a Sunday afternoon. I enjoyed an absinthe and a Hades Nectar, but there were so many other drinks on the menu that looked tempting! Friendly bar staff can offer recommendations if you get overwhelmed.

Bottles of distilled spirits are available to take home, and it looks like there's a fun calendar of events. I will definitely drop in next time I'm in town!

Amazing distillery, great conversation with the owner and bartender, you know which ones!! For our date night out. Cocktails were very flavorful, we went with bartenders choice for our first drink and they hit it out of the park! We each had 4 different drinks each and loved each one. Their in house spirts/liquiors are amazing you must try their purple gin!!!

We had such a great experience here! The service was great and this place really attracts kind genuine people. The bartender was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and they made fantastic cocktails. I was fortunate to meet one of the owners and got to hear about how this place came to be. Overall I had a great experience and I will definitely be back to this hidden gem.

This little soeakeasy spot has a great atmosphere and very cool theme. Greek mythology meets Halloween with a Goth/emo vibe over the top. The co-owner and bartenders were super nice and very down to Earth. All the seasonal drinks we tried were amazing as well, highly reccomend checking it out!

I am impressed with the very tasty drinks that the UnderWorld has to offer. You pick your cocktail by the spirit. Find a drink that sounds good and Enjoy!!! My friends and I were looking forward to visiting this bar since it is new in town and the decor looked fun and gothic. We made a reservation for a Friday night at 7pm. I messaged them an hour prior that we would be in more around 7:30pm and they acknowledged this. I appreciated their prompt response. We actually ended up arriving closer to our originally scheduled reservation time and the inside was very dark and much on theme for the Underworld name. Unfortunately when we came in, there was no hostess or anyone to direct us. I went to the bar to ask about reservation seating and my friends went to sit down. It was hard to tell where people were sitting or not because everyone was at the bar and the seating areas had not been bused/checks still left on the table. They only had two people working the bar so I am going to assume someone called out sick. I had a friend stand beside me at the bar who is extremely tall. Tall enough that it would turn an eye or you would think get the bartenders’ attention. We stood there for almost ten minutes and the two bartenders never once acknowledged us or looked our way. Again, I believe they were short staffed but to have stood there for ten minutes and never once be greeted or a “we’ll be right with you,” is not good customer service. I also don’t understand the reservation system if they don’t have someone to seat you. At that point, it is open seating. My friends and I ultimately ended up leaving and walking out so I cannot comment on the drinks. Also, it was strange that there was no music playing. I would think lofi or something possibly but all you could hear were people talking. Poor customer service though and I am extremely disappointed because I was looking forward to checking it out.

This is my goto gothic bar in Reno from now on. It has this blend of upscale, goth, and soothing enviroment. The atmosphere is spot on, with the decor and ambient music. Both bartenders we had tonight were very personal and great conversationalists. The cocktails were amazing and now I'm looking forward to going here whenever I'm in the area.
