We had a deeply disappointing experience at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino Buffet while celebrating my mother’s birthday. Our party of nine waited in line for over an hour, only to be treated with complete disregard by the manager, Vasco. When it was finally our turn, he abruptly told us, “we don’t have anything available for 9 people,” and refused to even attempt to accommodate us.

Too many irregularities with service and communication. Put clean the room door tag on outside door, came back later, not cleaned, nada. Called and was told I had to call front desk for room cleaning. Asked what door tag was for, was told didn't mean anything. Have never had to call for room cleaning, room service yes but not cleaning. Had a camper RV, parked in wrong lot apparently, got tagged, was told would be towed if not moved. Our recent stay at the Grand Sierra Resort from July 27–29, 2025, was extremely disappointing and stressful due to circumstances that were made worse by the hotel’s lack of support and communication.
