My family, wife and two daughters have been coming here for about 10 years. We come from California and would stop over on our camping trips to Yellowstone, Wyoming and Montana. Carlillos soon became a regular stop for any business in the eastern sierras. I grew up in San Diego and this is the best Mexican food I’ve had. Quaint little divey breakfast and lunch counter. This place’s is cool but there’s not many seats so it can be “busy.” I went by myself on a Saturday morning and there were three seats available when I sat. 4-5 Mexican guys are working like busy bees calling out orders, creating platters in a tiny little kitchen prep area. Excellent food. Outstanding guacamole!!! The best we've ever had. The Best Mexican food we've ever eaten. This is an extremely small place. It's run by all men. Everything is cooked fresh right in front of you. Prices are great. We can't wait to return.
