To those of you wondering why this location has been closed for about 2 months now... I'm an ex employee here to tell the truth. I ran the Sparks location and on June 1st 2023, we went through a change of ownership of our franchise. The franchise includes the location in South Meadows in south Reno. The new owner was great... at first. But then they took advantage of me. They burnt me out while giving me zero credit for what I did for the place. I left with 4 hour notice because I just couldn't take it anymore. I didn't have another job lined up immediately but I had another job within a week. It was around a week after I left, they pissed off another manager that was there and he quit. This forced them to close as they don't even have enough managers to run the place. Please people go to Domino's or Pizza Guys. The new owner of Papa John's in Reno/Sparks is so screwed without a good crew. He never paid me or treated me with what I deserved. I made $16.25/Hr and did the best I could do run the store. Now I'm not even in a management position and I'm making more money lol.

Tried ordering 2 weeks ago, but says they are 'temporarily' closed? as of today August 27 2023 been 2 weeks too bad they are no longer open they had great pizza.

On the lookout for quick pizza that was easy to order online, Papa Johns came up on the Yelp & Google. Many years ago, I left one of my first terrible reviews due to an extremely awful experience with a specific individual. I decided to give them another shot based on the convenience and consistently food from the franchise in general. I'm so glad i gave them another chance! I can't emphasize enough - it's so convenient to order online and know exactly what you're getting and when it'll be ready. I arrived about 10 minutes early to pick up and we'd just wanted to check in so they knew we were there - the employees explained they'd just put in our last pizza and to allow 5-8 minutes. We told them we'd wait outside and no rush since we were early. Just as quickly as we watched them pull our pizzas out of the oven, the young man brought us our pizzas out to us to our car - offering cheese and peppers as well (usually i have to ask for these things at other pizza places). Great experience! Great atmosphere. Clean. Friendly. Very pleased to have my local cheap, easy & good pizza joint back. :)

Went into the restaurant to order since we had a coupon from my Real Estate agent for a free cheese pizza with the purchase of another pizza. Friendly young man at the counter and another friendly delivery driver waiting on some food. Manager was quick to honor the free pizza. We got a pepperoni pizza too. We waited about 15 minutes and our pizza were ready. Another employee called out our name and when we went up to the counter, he asked if we needed cheese or peppers, and plates and napkins. We did. We took our pizzas to watch planes at the Reno airport and the pizza was still hot! Great service and very tasty pizza! Great job.

Best OG pizza in town! The pesto chicken is a winner as is the pepperoni olive and Hawaiin. Don't go anywhere else!They also offer crust for your bake your own. Their crust is much better than homemade or trader joes'

I've ordered from this location twice this December in 2022. Both times I put in a preset time way ahead of time to have the pizzas delivered. Both times my pizza was over an hour and a half late the first time and two and a half hours late the second time. The first time my pizza was delivered the second time I had to get a refund because they fell to meet expectations. Do not order from this place unless you have literally all day to wait for your pizza and expect it to get there cold. If they send your order through doordash don't expect your pizza at all. Worst Pizza service in Reno and Sparks respectively.

Good small store. The staff has always been nice when I was a customer or a DoorDash driver. Location is a bit cramp and not the greatest of surroundings, but doesn't affect the quality of their food.
