I came to Royal Tea this week because of its proximity to my home! I was greeted by a really sweet young woman and I ordered my drink. When I asked her to stamp my punchcard she was eager to do so until, her manager urged her not to. Her manager was an older woman who stated that since I payed with a credit card and not cash, she would not allow her employee to punch the card. I had never heard of this rule in the few times that I have been to Royal Tea. This manager spoke to me as though I was an aggressor in this situation. I felt so uncomfortable and genuinely discriminated against. She looked at me with distain and I couldn’t understand why. I think it’s important to let others know that if you don’t look a certain way, you will not get proper customer service at Royal Tea.

We just had lunch here and learned how amazing it is! Not only is it the most affordable sandwich in town, it might be the tastiest. We got a pork sandwich and it was delicious. My husband got a peach tea that was also great. They special made an orange juice for our daughter to enjoy, talk about amazing customer service. This place is top notch for service and quality.

Food is great. The teas were exceptional! I highly recommend the Lemongrass Orange Peach Tea. The place is clean, including the bathroom. This place is great for chilling out or a quick bite (Bao or Bahn Mi).

I have been here twice already and absolutely loved both visits. The first visit, I ordered a taro boba, and it was great. Well blended, not too sweet, a good value for the price, and no long wait. On the second visit, I decided to try the matcha tea with the vegetarian/mushroom steamed bun. Omg, it was the best steamed bun I have ever had! The mushrooms were savory in a mushroom gravy. I could have had two of those and nothing else and been very happy. The matcha was also savory with subtle sweet notes at the bottom. I stirred mine, and it was savory, sweet goodness.

Their drinks are fine and their sandwiches are good. The drinks we ordered had additional flavorings like rose and lavender so maybe ask first if you are a picky drinker. We stopped by in the afternoon and it was pretty quiet. They made our drinks and sandwiches and we left after eating. Lots of decorations on the walls.

The boba here okay — nothing amazing, but not terrible either. My group ordered about 7 drinks, I ordered the coconut milk tea, it was overly sweet and the server forgot my boba, so she took the top off and threw like 7 pearls in my drink. Service was friendly and the shop has a nice vibe and is a good spot to hang out, but overall, it was just average.

There Oolong is soo flavorful. And such delicious grass jelly. And the place is super clean and friendly. Definitely gonna tell my friends about this
