“We booked Delicious Designs to make our wedding cake in October 2023. The owner of Delicious Designs, Leigh Anne, and her team are so amazing to work with and extremely talented! You can't go wrong when you choose them! They were so helpful from the minute we booked them. First, we had a tasting shortly after booking, and the cake flavors are to die for!!! During the tasting, Leigh Anne worked with us to pick a cake size that stayed within our budget but was also able to feed all our guests. Her input was so helpful! During the tasting, as hard as it was to choose flavors, we went with Berry Champagne for one tier and Lemon Lovers for the other--highly recommended, especially the Berry Champagne! It's amazing! As we got close to the wedding, I decided to add some desserts, including macrons purchased through Delicious Designs(so good) and chocolate chip cookies. What I really appreciated is that Leigh Anne helped me decide how many to order, to make sure I wasn't breaking the bank. We cut back on cake in order to have more cookies and we had the perfect amount! If she hadn't made suggestions, we would have spent way more than needed. On the day of the wedding, she worked great with our florist to decorate the cake. When I saw it, I was in awe that a cake could be so beautiful. It was the most beautiful cake I had ever seen. Guests loved both the look and the taste! We had so many comments and the cookies were also a hit! Additionally, since my husband had to leave the tasting early to get to a 49-er game(lol, diehard 49er's fan), Leigh Anne had the great idea to surprise him with a box of hand-decorated 49er cookies on his place setting the day of the wedding. He absolutely loved them. He didn't want to eat them at first because of how great the design was, but the minute he bit into one, he couldn't stop! The cookies were so thoughtful of Leigh Anne and I felt like she really got to know us as a couple. This was truly one of our favorite vendors to work with! You cannot find a better baker for your wedding than Delicious Designs! If you book them, you will not regret it!“

“I'm not a big fan of the cheesecake frosting they use on a lot of their cookies BUT I do love all of their chocolate cookies. I am obsessed with the chocolate cookies and cream cookie I love doing the order ahead in the app for an easy curbside pick up!!“

“This bakery is so delicious. I got the crème brûlée pastry as well as a chocolate croissant and their chocolate chip walnut cookie. The cookie wasn’t as good as Levain Bakery but it was still amazing. My husband tried their pumpkin bread and he liked it but I wish it was sweeter. Their breakfast sandwiches looked good but I’m not a fan of grilled onions on breakfast sandwiches.“

I stopped in to collect my free mini bundt for my birthday and also picked up a couple other minis (lemon and strawberries & cream) and an 8 inch classic White Chocolate Raspberry Bundt Cake. “House of Bread offers great breads and pastry but the sandwiches are outstanding. They have all the classics and I chose the Italian Grinder. The Grinder meats, turkey and salami were delicious and full of flavor. I chose the freshly baked honey wheat sandwich bread and was as good as it smelled. The additions, black olives, pepperocinis, lettuce and tomatoes were very crisp andd fresh. I was a bit skeptical of the cream cheese however it was applied lightly and was a perfect complement to the sandwich. The finishing touches were the olive oil, vinegar and shakers- not overpowering by any means. The House of bread has a large area to eat and outside dining, as well. I arrived a little bit after the lunch rush but they still had quite a few customers. The staff easily handled all the orders and my sandwich arrived shortly after I ordered it. Pastry, loaves of fresh bread and sandwiches, who could ask for more.“

“I called today because my toddler grandson is extremely allergic to nuts, especially peanuts. The person who answered the phone was so kind and helpful. She told me that no nuts are used at the facility. All the other brands on the shelf stated that they were made in facilities that also processed nuts and peanuts. “It is always such a treat to come here! Came back this time to enjoy the breakfast sandwich and the garlic and chive knot. The breakfast sandwich was SO tasty!! My husband also got their hazelnut latte which was delicious. They forgot my coffee which was a little bummer but instead I was able to take it to go after the breakfast was eaten. This bakery is definitely on the expensive side - two drinks, two sandwiches and two pastries came to $70 - but oh is it worth the money!!“

“Styrofoam containers for the muffins took it down a star. Consider the muffin option vs the bagel and cream cheese for 50 cents extra. Step back and study the menu. It's jam packed. The breakfast prices for the simpler packages are comparable to the McDonalds without all the noise of their kitchens and kids. The front counter has two small lunch and breakfast specials of the weekday. Look for them or ask for them. They are a great deal!“

“I did not have time to bake my boyfriend an apple pie so I saw the reviews about Mix Bakeshop and purchased a salted caramel apple pie. The crust was classic and flaky, the apples were not mushy but tender and the salted caramel was a very nice addition. The customer service was spot on and the bakers all had smiles. I think when you have an open area it implies that you are friendly and clean and a business I will return to.“

“We got a cake for my daughter’s first birthday and a smash cake from here. I told them my theme, showed them some things I liked and let them create. I couldn’t be happier. It was beautiful. Beyond expectations. And omg it was TASTY. Most of the pro tiered cakes I’ve gotten have been quite dense and this one was so light and moist. It hurt that we had to cut into it. Highly recommend. “I am dubbing Reno as Little Vienna. Instead of the Danube River they have the Truckee River running through downtown and every restaurant seems to have a Wienerschnitzel on the menu. For those unfamiliar. Wiener is German for Vienna. We stopped in to grab some breakfast on our way out of town based on some recommendations on Reddit. They didn't have a wide variety of Austrian food. Only Bratwurst, Goulasch and a Wienerschnitzel, but they did have all of the diner standards. We ended up ordering a Wienerschnitzel, the corned beef and hash and a sticky bun. All were tasty and came in large portions. Our server was quick to take our order and was always around to refill our coffee even though the restaurant was full and busy. I'd recommend Josef's for anyone looking for a filling and tasty breakfast or lunch. It's no frills and all thrills.“

They mass-produce instead of use small bamboo baskets, so, the buns are 'larger' and 'shorter.' The sweet-stuffing buns are very good. Tonight my friend and I wanted something sweet and after tossing around a couple of places I suggested the Eldorado Bakery since I knew it was still open and there's such a great selection that it will satisfy any palate.I definitely needed this dessert therapy and got a total of 6 different desserts: a fresh fruit flan, a mini lemon cheesecake, a mini pumpkin cheesecake, a peanut butter chocolate brownie, a slice of double fudge chocolate cake, and a slice of lemon cake. My go-to fav is the fruit flan and the fresh fruit is still in season, which makes this my fav. My next favorite was the mini lemon cheesecake and the mini pumpkin cheesecake. They were so cute and tasty that it left me wanting just a little bit more. The chocolate and lemon cake slices are some original favs that never disappoint. I got the peanut butter chocolate brownie to take with me for work tomorrow.For crafting and creating such yummy desserts, everything is reasonably priced too--especially being in a casino. Because of this and many other reasons, the Eldorado Bakery will forever remain in my top spots for gourmet sweet treats. They even have gelato and a decent menu of different coffees. A good cup of Joe with a slice of cake is a good balance and definitely hits the spot.“
