“I have been recommending C’s Mad Batter Cakery to my clients for YEARS! The owners are the sweetest and all of their treats and delicious and beautiful. Today one of my clients showed up and stressed with the chaos that is life, she completely forgot to pick up a cake for her cake smash session. Ensue momentary panic— until she called C’s, explained the situation, and they happily let her know what flavors and colors they had available. Order placed— we snapped our portrait shots first— and about 25 minutes later the cake arrived and we had plenty of time behavior our cake smash portion of the session even began! The cake was beautiful, baby chowed down on it, pictures came out great, and the day was saved with almost no stress at all. It’s the care put into every interaction and every cake that keeps me recommending this amazing small business time and time again. “Usually 5 star service all the time but this time was NOT! The young girl Tristian is not very kind and has poor people skills. Literally just slid me my cookies and walked away. Didn’t open the box to so that I can see if they were correct, didn’t smile or anything. Very rude.“

“Absolutely amazing!!! I haven't had such amazing and authentic southern comfort food since I moved back to the west coast 40 years ago! I Door-Dash ordered the Shrimp and Grits with Greens and the Shrimp Salad. When I get over this throat bug that's keeping me down at the moment, I will be coming in person for Oxtails and Shrimp and Grits!!! I highly recommend Papawhatyoucooking! 10 out of 10!!!!😋“

“My wife and I found this place on Wednesday and we are so happy we did! Alice and her family make some amazing homemade dim sum items and they were some of the best we've ever eaten. We had the pork & shrimp shu mai and the shrimp dumplings and both were fantastic. My wife also enjoyed chatting with the owner. :)“
“Their little cafeteria has the best Mexican food in town. Other restaurants might have atmosphere, but they don’t have great food! As far as the grocery store, they have salsa that you won’t find anywhere else. The meat market is fantastic and the bakery is top notch. It’s really that good“

“my son and I stopped in this morning to try, and we are absolutely in love!!!!! I got a blta on sourdoughand it was literally the best sandwich I've ever had. my son goy a create your own breakfast sandwich and said it was now his fave place! thank you!“

“Very co-operative staff, appointment was at 1100 but arrived three hours early. They unloaded me one and half an hour early before appointment. Rest room inside the building but need to ask. No overnight parking but you can park at the street. Very hard to backup due to the sliding fence door on the way, it should be the swing door, better to backup from the street. Overall good consignee.“

“Yum! We came here three days in a row for a quick yummy breakfast on the way out. The breakfast burrito was big enough for me and my husband to share. They had such a wide variety of desserts and pastries. A very good coffee and tea selection too. Oh and the gelato was so good! Definitely worth stopping by. Oh, and went to grab some dessert one night too.“

“Quality baked goods at super affordable prices ($1.50-2.00 per pastry). Easily the best bang for your buck pastry shop in Reno.
They mostly stock Mexican pastries but have a few French classics as well (I love their palmiers).“

“Mexican food and bakery. Awesome street tacos for breakfast hit the spot before long 1600km ride on motorcycle back to Canada.
They have some cakes to order, deserts, buns, croissants, etc…
The beef and pulled pork tacos were tasty and tender.
Will go there again if I travel through.“

“This was such a a great little shop. They usually have fresh tres leches pieces available on Fridays around noon. The service is great and the cakes are so tasty too.
The customer service is so friendly too. I really liked my visit and recommend one here if your in the market for full sized tres leches cakes or single pieces of cake.“

“The portions are very generous and prices are very affordable, this is outside of Reno it's a typical small Grocery/ bakery that sells a variety of products. The food is made to order, fresh mas and deliciousDefinately recommend, atmosphere is not fancy as stated normal small family owned business but service was friendly and food is home style. Solid 4.5.“
