“Every time I come to (or through) Reno, stopping at Taco Shop is a MUST. Every taco here is amazing. The best, of course is the Cheeseburger taco - which I know sounds odd, but until you try it, you have no idea what you're missing. The pastor is a close second, super juicy with just a lil heat, it is perfection. But you won't find a thing on the menu that isn't incredible. I just wish it wasn't 400+ miles from my home, haha.“

If you’re looking for the ultimate comfort food, this taco truck has it! I came for the tacos but ended up trying the pozole, and let me tell you, it was straight gas!! The broth was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice to warm you up without being overpowering. The hominy was perfectly cooked, and the tender chunks of meat melted in your mouth.
The portion was generous, and the quality was top-notch. It’s clear they take pride in their food. Whether you’re a posole fan or trying it for the first time, this is a must-try! I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu, but the posole has already stolen the show. Highly recommend!“

“Dude this place is amazing, they kept the Maui Jane’s menu and added absolutely fantastic Mexican food. The owner or manager who was there I talked to was super upbeat about the place and nice. If you haven’t eaten here you need to fix that. I got the burger and a few tacos had to eat one of the tacos in my car it looked so good. Also great prices.“

“I love this place. I love the art and it's homie feel. The peach margarita was so good. I was taken there for as a treat cause I did an okay job. I used to live across the street from this restaurant and would eat there often. I was just needing to sit down and I have a hard time between choosing between this place and Aquitas.“

“10/10 delicious! An unexpected gem. On my way to a job this morning that I was completely under thrilled over, I decided I should at least get some beef jerky or something for energy. I walked into the gas station/market on the corner of Neil and Peckham lane and stumbled upon a tiny kitchen with a small colorful menu and a spotless kitchen. I ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito with spicy green salsa on the side. He rang me up for $7. Complete sweetheart. I feel now that I was undercharged. It was perfectly fresh and delicious. Set me straight for the morning. If you're in the area, check them out. Hours posted are 6am to 2pm and they have lunch options as well.“

“I have driven past this restaurant hundreds of times who would know that I would have this little Mexican Gem practically in my back yard. The man at the counter was incredibly polite and friendly. We bought a burrito for myself and tacos for my wife they were delicious. I asked about a drink they had, Rice water, and he gave me a free drink to go. It was delicious. I can’t wait to try other food at this place. I highly recommend.“
“We stopped at El Taco Birria for dinner on Saturday night. It was our first time We had Birria tacos and a Quesobirria. Both were delicious! The meat was tender and flavorful, and the tacos were crispy perfection. There were several customers ahead of us but the order was prepared on a very short time. The staff was friendly and helpful. “Was up late and my husband and I wanted something good to eat . We stopped at another truck but they didn't accept credit cards. I'm glad they was across the street. I really wanted chicken street tacos but they didn't have that as an option. So I got an all American burger and got my husband some hot wings ! The burger was soo big and we had more than enough fries ! The burger was so good. I'm glad i tried this spot on a whim. The wait time was only 15 mins. My husband enjoyed his wings also. We will be back ! Thanks again !
That was so satisfying and I'm not big on burgers especially boring ones. That grilled jalapeño gave it an extra kick and nice smokey flavor. Definitely left an impression on my taste pallet .“

“Really enjoy this bar. The place is located in a good spot across from the river.
It's larger than expected inside and can sometimes get busy. Even when busy the bartenders here do an incredible job. There are regulars that come often due to the atmosphere and the friendliness all around. The patrons do enjoy chatting and the staff do as well, none of which gets in the way of the service.
The drawback is that I think the food costs a bit more than it should. However, I could forgive it since the establishment provides a solution to loneliness and community.
The place is clean and does attract affluent customers. I often found myself in conversation with people from around the world visiting Reno.

“McDonald's didn't have my breakfast! My hubby told me about the Sourdough scramble on my favorite bread. I drove down the street, so hungry! Did NOT disappoint. HONESTLY, THE FRIENDLY, ALEIVY ? ? was just what I needed. Friendly smiling face, asked if I wanted a meal after I stated everything individually. (My brain wasn't working without food) Food was soooo good, fresh, and hot. THANK YOU! ????“

“For fast food, this place is always on point. Food is very hot and made within acceptable guidelines. Other competitors need to be trained at this location because most other places like mcdonalds, wendys, etc are a joke compared to this location. Management staff is always extremely friendly and professional. Thank you for creating a nice culture. ?
The double smash bacon ? is ? with curly fries. Honey mustard and buffalo sauce on the side with a vanilla coke, and I'm extremely satisfied. ?“

They had a salsa booth that wasn't being utilized.

We love it here. We actually go to this one when we are in Reno and the one in Carson City. It is amazing. One of those "Just like our grandma's (abuelitas) used to cook. The red sause is amazing over the bean and cheese burrito and my son gets a chilie relleno burrito with added Carne asada -OMG it tremendous!!
I love the staff and its always clean when we go. I never have any reasons to complain.“
