About Jimboy's Tacos

Jimboy's Tacos is a must-try spot in Reno, known for their delicious and greasy tacos. The honey chicken taco remains a standout, with a nice crunch and touch of sweetness. The carnitas taco is also tasty, especially with lime and sauces. The burger tacos are messy but delicious, tasting like a burger without the carbs. The restaurant's newer location is clean, with quick service and a variety of sauces available. The refried bean tacos are a hit, though some customers noted an overpowering smell of cleaning products.

Recent reviews highlight the mix of experiences. Many love the food for its right spice and generous portions, while others found certain items like the cheese quesadilla lacking flavor. The Chicken Tahoe burrito is described as fresh and a little spicy, which customers enjoyed. However, some have mentioned inconsistency in quality and service, with reports of undercooked fries and incorrect orders. Despite these issues, Jimboy's Tacos remains a great choice for those craving flavorful, greasy tacos, and many still have a strong desire for their breakfast burritos.

Freshly grilled soft corn tortillas, stuffed with beef, cheese, lettuce, and sauce. Add some diablo and Verde for the perfect flavor combo! Chicken tacos were good too! The signature parmesan on the shell makes the flavors over the top good!
Service was good, and speedy.
We always stop by when we are in town for tacos and taco sauce. We don't have a Jimboys where we live. This is by far the best Jimboys in the Reno area. Service is quick and the employees are friendly.
I hadn't been to Jimboys in awhile as the one closer to my home on clearacre closed awhile ago. Unfortunately, the recipe for the beans seems to have changed which was my second favorite thing about Jimboys. The greasy tacos are still yummy, but I probably won't be back again for some time.
