This is a very casual place with long tables put end to end. You order at the pick-up/ takeout window. They do bring the food and drinks to the table. I am not a vegetarian but that was what I ordered and it was good. There aren't many choices or restaurants in Tohopah.

Ate there on 9-11-23. 1 piece of cheese pizza, generously served with a few mushrooms, for almost 10.00 . The server emphasized that I can give either a 20/25/30 percent tip (see photo). I donated a dollar to their already full tip jar. Why tip when their only duty is to heat food up and put on a paper plate? Pizza dough was like a thick pasty bread/ skimpy on toppings, sauce was an acidic tomato paste and I needed a tums afterwards. Truly Ersatz, much like a Little Caesar's. Lots of flies doting in and wanting a taste. 1 star for having a security guard at the front- some serious scum hanging outside. Much better pizza on Fremont (Evel Knievel, etc) Save your money and go elsewhere.

Couldn’t fault the pizza - crispy base and just the right amount of topping (lots of veg and not too heavy on the cheese) - friendly helpful wait staff too - we really liked it here - top marks!

I was visiting Tonopah from the Vegas area. We ordered a pizza, bread sticks and a salad bar. The salad bar was ok, bread sticks were good but the pizza was horrible. We ordered an all meat pizza but it had no taste. It tasted as though there was no sauce and if there was sauce it was either minimal or it had no taste. I added crushed peppers and parmichaen cheese to my pizza but it did not help to give this pizza any taste. I definetly would not return to this resteraunt.

We had take-out here ordering a small combo pizza and a Greek salad. The total was $24. The staff was fine and no issues with anything. We would return.

We were traveling through the state of Nevada. Tonopah didn't have many options. 1:30 pm late lunch. We ordered a Pesto pizza it was delicious. Quiet without poker machines--a plus for us. Suitable for families. Restrooms were clean. I would eat there again. They did have a buffet style pizza & salad bar if you don't want to wait for a fresh baked pizza.

We drive from Las Venas to Reno frequently, and while the food options have gotten much better - there are still not a lot of lunch choices in Tonopah. Give HometownPizza a chance! Ordered a small Hawaiian pizza when I was about 10 miles out of town and it was just coming out of the oven as I arrived. In fact, I had to let it cool down in the car before enjoying. $13.00 for a small speciality pizza. Plenty of topping and a nice hot lunch on a cold day.

They were across the street from our hotel so we walked over while waiting on our room. The thin crust was perfect and had a pitcher of beer with it.

Was looking forward to trying this well reviewed restaurant while I was in Tonapah - however the I found the political advertising very offputting . While I cannot really review the dining experience I thought the management might be interested in my experience.

Very nice local pizza place. Ingredients were very fresh. Lunch buffet six days a week. Basic salad bar, sandwiches.

The lunch buffet was an unexpected surprise. Salad bar was extremely fresh shortly after opening time, and the several pizzas offered were hot and rather tasty, much better than what a Cici's Pizza would have. Owners and other customers were mostly silent, which may just be part of the culture of Tonopah. The political signs were mildly off-putting, but did not significantly affect the experience. Service was fast and efficient, and the value was excellent.

While traveling through Tonopah and looking for someplace other than a fast food restaurant we came across Hometown pizza. We got there just after the lunch time rush and had the place to ourselves. Much to our delight they offered and all you can eat pizza and salad bar. There were several different types of pizzas available sliced and ready to go. There’s salad bar offered many items that will please anyone looking for a hearty salad. The staff were obviously proud of the product that they produce. It was very apparent that this business is a valued member of the community and a huge supporter of the local high school and their sports teams. The price for the buffet was perfect and we went away fully satisfied. We highly recommend Hometown Pizza whether you are traveling through or live in the area. You will not be disappointed

We were surprised to find a 5 star pizza experience in Tonapah. 3 plant based selections and an innovative approach to the standard pizza styles. Craft beer was a plus. Fresh veggies, crisp crust. A must stop.

Aside from the indifferent service, the Caesar salad was a do-it-yourself kit, with dressing and croutons in packets. Wine was a bad cabernet sauvignon served chilled. Biggest disappointment was the worst calzone we've ever had. Three strikes and you're out.
