“Don’t let the “simple” appearance of the food fool you. There is something about it that was just right. Eggs and potatoes tasted higher quality than a typical diner. The toast was HUGE and pre-buttered. And even the water was impressive. No metallic or “off” taste. The salad is not made with iceberg lettuce, which I appreciate. Spaghetti has wonderful sauce. Just higher quality all around.”

“Great pizza. Good crust and they don't scrimp on the toppings. I've lived in small towns for several years, and most businesses in those small towns wouldn't survive in a big city. Hometown Pizza of Tonopah is an exception to that.”

“Went in to get a drink and see if I could get a spooky tour of the infamous haunted basement, I was greeted by an awesome bartender, Donna who asked Lacey if she would give me a tour. Lacey gave the best tour and told stories that chilled me to the bone! An eerie energy is in the basement mine beneath TLC and it’s def worth checking out.”

“This bar has an impressively cozy and beautiful charm and atmosphere. The woman who served us could not have been nicer to us and even gave us advice about our trip when she asked us where we were from and told her about the trip. A complete success ♥️”

“Wow! Shocked at just how good this place was! The root beer float hit the spot, the food was fresh hot and tasty. The restaurant had a lot of neat decor including room keys from around the world. The people working there were friendly, fast and efficient. Kudos to the best A&W!”

“It's a fancy looking place for a 3 star hotel. Only tried the breakfast when I was there. Had to get the country fried steak. The portions were great and the food was too. The staff was attentive and kind.”

“Amazing food and service ! Our dinners were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I told the server it was an insult to the chef to have salt and pepper on the table. The portions were large and presented well. This little hotel in the middle of nowhere is putting out some of the best dishes we've had in a long time, compared to Vegas. The service was thoughtful and efficient. We couldn't have asked for better. The restaurant is adorable, romantic and had great ambiance. I loved the time period correct music playing in the background. We didn't expect too much because this little town is 3 hours from anywhere. We were definitely pleasantly surprised.”

“Ideal spot for an early morning coffee fix, opening at 6 am. Nestled in a historically decorated hotel, the coffee is fantastic, and they offer a variety of breakfast options. The staff is exceptionally friendly and efficient in taking orders.Parking: Located right outside the coffee shop on Main Street.”

“Peppermint hot chocolate with almond milk. Perfect on a cold rainy travel day! It was delicious, but could've been slightly warmer. I did like that I didn't have to wait for it to cool down before I drank it though. My toddler loved the grilled cheese sandwich too!”

“Great beer ?MISS the bbq though. This was our second pass through, and to our disappointment - the bbq has been taken off the menu. We had a VERY impressive experience with our bbq selection during our first visit (fall 2023).”

“As far as Burger King's go, this is one of the best ones I've been to and I always end up stopping her for lunch anytime I make the long drive to and or from Vegas to Carson City. It's gotten a lot nicer since being remodeled a few years back and I've always found it to be clean with good friendly service. And, maybe it's because this restaurant is out in the middle of nowhere Nevada, I always find that they Whoppers are made well, hot and tasty. This as opposed to some out there that can be skimpy on the fixings, too salty or cold. Of all the fast food options in Tonopah, this is probably the fastest and easiest to get in and out of as well if only because they have a drive thru as well.”

“It's a subway. The food is made fresh. The employees are friendly even if they are a bit rushed. It's combined with Chevron gas station and Burger King so the area is usually busy.”
