This bar's style matches the town's early 1900s feel. It's warm and clean, the drinks were strong and very well priced. The bartender was pleasant and checked in on us. The bathrooms were surprisingly updated, clean, and bright. Don't be deceived by the bar's name, it feels old-timey classy while still comfortable and affordable. Final note, this is a smoking bar. It wasn't obnoxious or hazy but you will notice.
I have worked here from Jan to April this year and it is a wonderful unexpected surprise! It is s favorite of the locals who gather to catch up, relax or just bs. Everyone is friendly and initiate easy conversation with all who stop. I will really miss this job and hope the reputation goes on for a long time to come. If you do stop in, ask the bartender for some applesauce... mmmmm.... (is a drink in leaving behind for them to remember me by!?)

This bar has an impressively cozy and beautiful charm and atmosphere. The woman who served us could not have been nicer to us and even gave us advice about our trip when she asked us where we were from and told her about the trip. A complete success ♥️
