First off, I want to say I absolutely adore the Mizpah Hotel! We ate at Jack Dempsey last night, the other restaurant here and it was fantastic. This is our third trip to the Pittman Café and based on the comparisons of the last two times I have to say things have drastically changed. There’s no wait staff, you order at the cashier and the food is served with plastic forks and plastic plates. The quality of food is now average and no longer something I will seek out as we pass through town. In their defense, at least they are open and offer breakfast.

Was sat relatively quickly. But that was it. I waited about 25 minutes and nobody ever came to even drop off a water. I placed a to-go order with the hostess and waited another 20 mins or so for my mediocre eggs benedict. The whole experience was incredibly disappointing. Boo. 👎

Service was BAD. Hostess didnt even look up when we arrived. We were told to sit where ever which wasnt bad as the place wasnt crowded. We were asked three times if we wanted something to drink by two different servers. One asked twice! We were also asked for our food order twice! Almost 10 minutes later the server who asked for our drink order twice came back and asked to take our food order again! We got our food about 30 min later. Not once were we asked if we needed more water or coffee. Had to ask for silverware because the table didnt have any. When we did get our food it was mediocre at best. Lastly, I had to wait 5 minutes at the counter just to pay. Very disappointing.

You want breakfast??? Come here. I ordered it 2 days in a row. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The biscuit was baked fresh. I wanted to eat 6 of them, but I didn't want to be a pig. The hashbrowns gave me LIFE- CRISPY, FLAVORFUL, & GOLDEN.

We went there to get our tree breakfast from our hotel across the street. I had my handicapped mother with me. We had to repark and go in. They staff were rude and even when I asked the manager upfront at the desk to help he didn’t. There were 6 families waiting to be seated. Their excuse was their tables were dirty and they could not seat us. Worst excuse ever. Didn’t even come over to any of us till I told the manager. Rude and unprofessional. We left and so did others. Glad I didn’t stay at this hotel.

Located inside the Mizpah Hotel, where we had breakfast during a two-night stay. The atmosphere was perfect, bringing you back to days gone by. The restaurant is a nice size and was very well maintained by the staff. The food was well prepared and served hot, and in a timely manner. Extremely friendly staff but we must give major kudos to Chef, Joe. Each morning after we received our breakfast, he would personally come out of the kitchen to make sure our food was to our liking and to offer a friendly daily greeting, which just made our day. Chef Joe did this for every single guest that came into the restaurant to eat, and I cannot express what a wonderful touch it added to our day, quite impressive. A great breakfast combined with excellent service made us leave with a smile on our faces, making for a perfect way to start off the day. Thank you.

I ordered three cheese omelette, toast and sausage on the side. I asked the waitress for dry toast, only cheddar on the omelette because American cheese is garbage to eat and home fries.. I got an omelette covered in American cheese, toast smothered in butter and hash browns. On top of that she forgot the side of sausage.. basically got my entire order wrong and didn't write anything down..

It's a fancy looking place for a 3 star hotel. Only tried the breakfast when I was there. Had to get the country fried steak. The portions were great and the food was too. The staff was attentive and kind.

As we were staying in the hotel, It was convenient to have breakfast here. There were about five or six tables filled with diners and we were told there were no tables available, maybe in fifteen minute wait. We were saying our goodbyes to our son and daughter-in-law so we waited. Once seated and our order was taken, I had a breakfast burrito and the wife had chicken fried steak. we waited a long time, I wanna say thirty minutes. When it arrived, it was okay, nothing notable. Iced tea was okay.
This hotel is terrific, the history is fun. The meals are usually top notch. A very enjoyable experience.
