I had the sourdough patty melt with French fries. Delicious! Mom had the coconut shrimp dinner, which she really liked as well. My only complaint is the booths were uncomfortable (they were antique!).

When I was a kid, we had breakfast here every Sunday. This is back when the Tonopah Station was in better shape, all around. Now, a lot is broken, dusty, or just dirty all over the hotel & casino, and inside feels like a sad memory. This goes for the Cafe also. This was once a decent place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Over the years, the quality has gone decidedly downhill. The decor is as tired & outdated as the rest of the casino. The Cafe staff are all prompt, friendly, and helpful. There's never a wait to be seated. Food rarely takes long to come out of the kitchen and is plenty affordable. But the food just isn't the same. I keep trying to like this place again, but no matter what time of day I eat there or what I order, it's disappointing. I even stopped in for a slice of pie when I had a sweet tooth one night. As simple as it should be, even that was lacking.
Passes the gravy test. Friendly staff. Smokey bacon, Yum!

The site is original, as if stopped in time. As it was an organized trip, although we were a large group, we had a reservation and they attended to us quickly. Family atmosphere. The food was good.
