“Some of the best Mexican food you can get in town can be had here - certainly, the best chips and salsa for sure! Without question, this place is a bit hard to find especially if you're just passing through town but if you're willing to make a small detour for a great lunch or dinner, I can assure you that it's well worth it. Just look for the small entrance next to the ACE Hardware Store and you find a wonderful restaurant that is a lot larger than it looks from the outside and is very welcoming on the inside. Service is fast and friendly and really, the food is delicious. On our recent visit, my wife had the Banderillas with chicken and I had the carne asada burrito and both were wonderful. Best part about this place is that their prices are very reasonable or at least, to me anyway. Need I say, I would highly recommend this place.”

“This place is amazing! The tacos are some of the best I've ever had, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. It's also a convenient store, so you can grab some Mexican treats and drinks while you're there. I highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for delicious food and excellent service. “Located inside Golden Gate Auto Truck Plaza, they have the most incredibly delicious, crunchy, fresh fried chicken. Hot, moist, crunchy, delicious chicken tenders are ready to eat at 7:00 AM, how cool is that ?!?!?!? Bone-in chicken is ready at 9:30 AM. During breakfast hours, chicken waffle sandwiches are available. Also, there are biscuits slathered in honey, and Blueberry Biscuits, both are spectacularly delicious. The exterior of the fried chicken boasts a rugged, golden-brown crust, often with dark amber peaks and valleys, hinting at a crispy crust, that shatters audibly at the first bite. This satisfying crunch gives way to a burst of steam and the aroma of savory spices, and perfectly rendered fat. Inside, the meat is moist, tender, bringing out the natural rich flavor of the chicken. This is fried chicken delivers comfort and satisfaction. The restrooms are clean, bright and smell fresh. Great place for a break, meal, or fuel. The store is very well stocked with snacks, beverages, beer, safety equipment and other useful items.”

“Found this lil Gem in Yerington Nevada great food rt off the highway near my pick up at Peri & Sons produce, friendly lady and even has a lil store rt next to her taco truck to buy like anything fr water Soda to beer, just a lot of house hold ideas you find at Walmart and reasonably priced ill be stopping here from now on.”

“Subways really vary by store ownership. My visit to the Minden store was terrible. This time we visited the Subway in Yerington. The sandwich artist made an excellent roast beef sandwich. I get all veggies. Unlike minden the veggies we surely present. This is my favorite subway out of the many we have visited. The two ladies have been there for awhile and know their stuff. “Pizza is good as always. staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoy eating there but due to prices and the economy it's hard to justify 40-50 dollars for a pizza dinner.”
