“I was a little disappointed with last night's visit (2/3/24), which is truly a first. We arrived shortly after 5:00 pm. When my wife ordered the steak sandwich she was informed that they were out of that, so she changed her order to the Reuben. I then ordered the roast pork. Five minutes later our server returned and informed me that they were out of the roast pork as well. A restaurant shouldn't be out of 2 menu items at 5:15 pm - that's a problem. That said, the food we received was delicious and our server was excellent. I've never had a bad meal or poor service here and probably never will - I will definitely be back and I can still recommend the Crystal without reservation.“

“Had a wonderful evening here with the family. The calamari was divine; super crispy on the outside and nice and tender on the inside with great flavor. The addition of the peppers with the calamari was on point. The burger looked delicious and the beef dip was great as well. The corn beef and cabbage was lacking. The corn beef had great flavor - but over half of my beef was just fat, which was a little disappointing. I also got the butt end of the cabbage and it definitely needed some salt along with the potatoes. The broth was delicious. We got the carrot cake, gingerbread cheesecake, and egg nog cheesecake. They were all very well made and tasted great. My favorites were the egg nog cheesecake and the carrot cake. Overall a really great experience.

“This is a good place to go for a "home cooked" meal. Portions are good, price is fair. Service is pretty good.
Coffee is not great, but I'm picky about my coffee.
The place is clean and comfortable. The restroom is comically small. Parking is on the street, but that's not usually a problem.“

“I am very happy all the other Sunday Breakfest places were busy, because we found Friede's. We ordered the Works omelet, french toast, corned beef hash and a hamburger. “Great food! We both had a fried chicken sandwich and were blown away by how good everything was. I had Seoul Food, and he had Nashville Hot (very good and verrrry spicy) which were both chicken sandwiches and they were so tasty - definitely THE best fried chicken I have ever had! The mashed potatoes and gravy were so so good too. This place is relaxed, the food was great, the owner chatted with us and the menu made me laugh. We are looking forward to coming back!

“I love Jrecks. I mean I really really love it. Some might say I have an obsession. I've even got to the trouble of having their rolls shipped to me out of state when that was slightly more reasonable than flying home for lunch. But this particular visit on this particular day at this particular location there was something amiss with the rolls. They weren't soft pillows of cold cut goodness we all know and love. Maybe a bad batch? None the less you won't lose me over it. But do please make sure those rolls are on point next time! ❤️“

“Ordered food for pick up. 8 dinners in all. Drive across the city to pick it up. Restaurant seemed so unorganized. When we finally got our food we headed home. My dinner was supposed to come with 2 sides but there were none. Steaks were very overdone. Just not a great experience“

“I went during lunch and most of the food was good but they did not have the A list cook on. My 30$ steak was very charred on the outside but perfect on the inside. As a regular of Longhorn that’s unusual. You will get flawless service during regular dinner hours. Lunch I would skip it.“

“We sat on the outside porch with our dogs by the river and it was more invigorating than relaxing but between my sister and i ordering mimosas and our food it was actually a fair price! Lower than we expected for sure. The parking lot is pretty big and theres a small trail leading off the right side of the pub. Overall, pretty good food, service and drinks.“
