“If you’re heading up toward the Adirondacks and want a solid, no-nonsense breakfast stop, Pioneer Café in Glenfield is absolutely worth the pull-over. The omelets are the star here—fluffy, packed with fresh ingredients, and cooked just right. You can tell they don’t cut corners in the kitchen. Whether you’re fueling up for a day outdoors or just passing through, it hits the spot. What really makes the place stand out, though, is the service. Haley and Christy were both friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming—exactly the kind of small-town hospitality you hope to find but don’t always get. Perfect little stop on the way through the Adirondacks—great food, great people, and a relaxed vibe that makes you want to come back.“

“This has become one of our favorite spots to stop on the sleds. It's typically never busy, there are multiple ways to get there, and it's out of the typical chaotic thug hill bar loop. The service has always been great and so is the food. No complaints from any of the 6 of us there last time!“
