“The nicest most accommodating bar tender (maybe owner) i’ve ever met. We came in soaking wet after getting caught in a rain storm on our SXS and she put our clothes in the dryer for us. She went out of her way to help us and enabled us to enjoy the test of our day. Highly recommend!“

“I've been working in the area since November and have been welcomed into open arms. Great service. Great people. Great vibe. Matt is awesome and love the tight knit feel from everyone there. Truly the best bar and grill I've been to in “

“It ‘s our happening/happy place. After a super giddy up at the Otter Creek Horse Trails it’s off to Pioneer Cafe for the BEST turkey sandwiches ever. Oh….and the staff are EXCEPTIONAL. They make every guest feel like family including the ones hanging in the parking lot!“

“The food is good for bar food, the staff is friendly enough and attentive enough, but nothing that screams top notch, the atmosphere is kind of like a hunting lodge bar, with more TV's and music, often times drowning each other out, but all around it a nice little spot in a beautiful little town on a nice little Adirondack lake, golf course just down the road less than a mile, beach is about as far, there's a kids summer camp between the bar and golf course, so it's located in a great spot, there's 3 other bars and restaurants within 3 miles 2 of which are within a quarter mile, all 3 have there own thing going on, pine tree shoots to be the snowmobile and wheeler hangout, hunting hang out where people come and show off the latest trophy, if that sounds like you it's definitely worth checking out!!Parking: Tons of parking and not far off the trails for those on wheelers or sxs or snowmobileKid-friendliness: They have a video game or 2 for kids that are waiting for their food to come out or waiting for their parents to finish their meals and go back to hitting the trails or lake“

“Warm inviting atmosphere and amazing service. With fantastic food. Can't go wrong, my family and I even got in a little late closer to closing but had no issues and were well taken care of. I had lasagna calzone, and they put loads of sauce on the side.“

“I sadly won't probably be at the Wicked Bad Apple in the near future, the last time I was in that town was 40+ years ago. I must say though if I ever do get up in that area again, you can bet I will DEFINITELY stop there again!! It was a really nice place inside and outside, the food was great and it was comfortable! Only 2 negative things I could think of is there was only one guy working and he had to do everything, and not much in area of seating for dinner. It's primarily a bar so those 2 things are very very minor!!“

“The service was exceptional and the waitress was very friendly for as busy as it was, we got the fish fry and one was slightly overcooked and the other was spot on, there wasn't as many French fries as usual but it was later in the evening and they could have been running low but everything was really good otherwise, the atmosphere is what it is, for a small community restaurant, that's exactly what you get, people talking table to table and across the room, but that almost adds to the charm of the place, it's kinda like cheers without the alcohol but that's usually only on Fridays when they're doing fish fry dinners, breakfast and lunch most days aren't quite as loud or as many people but they do a solid business with cars parked up and down the street most daysParking: Parking is available up and down both sides of the streetKid-friendliness: Absolutely kid friendly, the morning crowd is usually a bit older and might not like a lively bunch of kids but are polite enough to not say anything rude about it, lunch and the Friday evening crowd wouldn't bother them a bit as most are talking table to table or table to counter anyway“
