“Finally stopped at the Little Fox. I always wanted to stop, but the days activities never allowed the visit. Today afforded the opportunity. I felt bad now after the visit, that we didn't stop the last few years. Great place in Big Moose to have a drink and eat delicious food! As well, which cannot be ignored, the hospitality! Jonny and Beth were very pleasant and picked your vibe right away. Very knowledgeable about the area and passionate about the food they serve. I had the bowl of New England clam chowder, which was most likely the best I ever had. Ask about the pickled eggs and wash it down with an Uncle Charlie. Their menu is by far the best in the OF-EB-BM area. Ask what's cooking, and they will tell you. Definitely don't make the mistake I did by not stopping sooner.Parking: Park your sleds here to dine.“

“This place is awesome! Right on Big Moose Lake, it feels like the Adirondacks. The food selection ranges from hearty American to more modern, light fare. My sister-in-law had the Ahi Tuna Salad which was fresh tasting and good. My niece had Chicken Nuggets, typical kid food which she enjoyed. A few of us had the Prime Rib Special. It didn't disappoint. The meat was cooked as requested and served with tasty potato wedges and green beans. Service is efficient and friendly. Overall a relaxing, enjoyable experience.“

“Had a great lunch here with rice and beans, empenadas, and plaintains. So nice to have something different from the standard burger up here in ADK!My only wish is for a bigger stomach to try some of the other items like the udon, tater kegs, etc.“

“Here's from some vegetarian, and one gluten-free vegetarian, and a kid, and a dedicated coffee snob: delicious, top to bottom! Iced Americano and hot chocolate, were excellent, omelettes, eggs, toast and home fries- fantastic! And, my hubby who loves sweets and is unfortunately gluten free, found the best peanut butter cookie and some little miracle called a "chocolate puddle"! All approve, and the gift shop upstairs has great, unique items- no lie!!“

“My mom and I wanted a fine dining fancy experience. She ordered the chef special of lamb wellington and I ordered the cider pork. We learned that the chef had been there since 1989! Food was great. The only complaint was the close quarters of seating when many tables were open.“

“My wife and I were on vacation. Stopped by this place and the gentleman that helped us was nice and even gave us ideas on nearby attractions. We ordered a BLT and a cheeseburger. Both were delicious. I recommend this place. Got a nice homie hole in the wall food place vibe.“

“Our last 3 meals here over the past 6 months have been excellent. Other than a hostess who seemed to want nothing more than to be rid of us (despite our reservation), our meals have been tasty, well seasoned and have used fresh/excellent ingredients. Our table service has been incredibly attentive and kind and even the table bussers have been great. We have not had anything bad so we won't call out any dishes to get or avoid. And you can't beat the setting (hint-book around sunset).“

“This place is pretty unassuming in the lineup of businesses on the main street in town but don't miss it. It was sparsely populated at lunch on a Monday but I could totally see this bar being packed and a lot of fun at happy hour. Really good bar food. Super nice staff, from the bar to the kitchen. Go. Hang out. Have fun.“

“Service was great, food was also, remodeled inside and open every day. Only complaint was there was no prime rib available until 6:30pm. Don't know why, my self and my wife got there at 5:30, wanted the rib but no go so if you want it go late ......“
