“Friendly and homey atmosphere, quick and personalized service. Food cooked deliciously to order. Omelets are filled to the brim with fresh veggies! I had a feta cheese, potato, and fresh spinach omelet with hearty bacon on the side. We come here regularly and it is our favorite Breakfast Diner. The bathrooms are impeccably clean. Keep up the great work!!“
“This place is pretty unassuming in the lineup of businesses on the main street in town but don't miss it. It was sparsely populated at lunch on a Monday but I could totally see this bar being packed and a lot of fun at happy hour. Really good bar food. Super nice staff, from the bar to the kitchen. Go. Hang out. Have fun.“
“If the food wasn't so amazing and I wasn't so hungry after hiking all day then I could have shared pics of the grouper tacos and black and blue burger we enjoyed last evening. The tacos included crispy fried fish that was broken into smaller pieces so everything fit nicely into the two super-stuffed soft shells.A wide range of choices is available with daily specials. I was tempted by the chicken pot pie special. On the beverage front, my wine was a generous pour of a house white. One note: we arrived at 4:30 on a gorgeous day and the place was packed by 5:15. Release your inner early bird to get your choice of outdoor seating if that is your thing. Indoor dining looked super cute & cozy as well.“
“We are staying in nearby Inlet, and nothing is open on a Tuesday at lunch, so we headed to Old Forge. I'm so glad we stopped here. We had a table outside on a beautiful fall day. Our waitress was very friendly and we were served promptly. We both ordered burgers, and they were delicious! We loved the potato wedges, too. Very pleased with our experience.“
“By far my favorite restaurant/bar/atmosphere in Old Forge. I love the ease of going down to the Lean To when we stay at Great Pines, but also love going there when we've rented a large cottage with our extended family. The atmosphere and staff at the Lean To is like family. It's always a good time, the food is always amazing, with their ever changing and seasonal menu offerings. I LOVE that they have such great vegetarian offerings on the normal menu. Drinks are the best at the Lean To. AND it's dog friendly! Just doesn't get any better!Vegetarian options: Not your average options that are thrown on just to please a specific crowd. These are well thought out delicious choices and change seasonally. SO YUMMY.“
“My daughter and I stopped in, for the 1st time, Saturday 3/16/2024 for lunch before going to the View Art Center. We had driven a long distance and were ready for lunch. We had deliciously grilled burgers with nice crispy potatoes wedges, a hot cup of tea and an ice tea. The waitress (I didn't get her name, long light brown hair, neatly tied back, pleasant smile) was quick in greeting us, was pleasant serving us & asking us how everything was.The diner was so nicely kept. The menu variety was terrific & atmosphere friendly. What a nice experience.I wish everyone a Blessed day!“
