“This place is pretty unassuming in the lineup of businesses on the main street in town but don't miss it. It was sparsely populated at lunch on a Monday but I could totally see this bar being packed and a lot of fun at happy hour. Really good bar food. Super nice staff, from the bar to the kitchen. Go. Hang out. Have fun.“
“By far my favorite restaurant/bar/atmosphere in Old Forge. I love the ease of going down to the Lean To when we stay at Great Pines, but also love going there when we've rented a large cottage with our extended family. The atmosphere and staff at the Lean To is like family. It's always a good time, the food is always amazing, with their ever changing and seasonal menu offerings. I LOVE that they have such great vegetarian offerings on the normal menu. Drinks are the best at the Lean To. AND it's dog friendly! Just doesn't get any better!Vegetarian options: Not your average options that are thrown on just to please a specific crowd. These are well thought out delicious choices and change seasonally. SO YUMMY.“
“We are staying in nearby Inlet, and nothing is open on a Tuesday at lunch, so we headed to Old Forge. I'm so glad we stopped here. We had a table outside on a beautiful fall day. Our waitress was very friendly and we were served promptly. We both ordered burgers, and they were delicious! We loved the potato wedges, too. Very pleased with our experience.“
“Friendly place. Decor is fitting. Bigger place than you think. Wings (buffalo mild) are excellent and not too spicy. Decent variety of brews. Learned something new, breweries in NY can have alcohol but they must be from NY. Cool. Saw a Bourbon Cream with root beer, said it tastes like a root beer float. Plenty of merch.“
“Actually this is a tasting bar and store for Montezuma wines and Hidden Marsh spirits. Seating at the tasting bar is a nice touch. $8 for 3 quarter ounce servings of spirits which qualifies you for $2 off a full size bottle. Tried their Lone Loggers Bourbon which was nice enough to merit a purchase. Server was pleasant and did not rush us. Nice stop on a rainy day in Inlet, NY.“
