Was my favorite Chinese place but I just ate fromThere & ordered chicken wings with fried rice. My friend said she didn’t trust the chicken wings because they were too big and she didn’t eat them. I ate mine and ended up with food poisoning. Later on in the day I threw up in the event i was attending and had to go home early. I was nauseous and had the chills and I was breathing fast and couldn’t keep any liquids down. Diarrhea came the next day. you guys lost a customer and I just seen another customer review saying they got food poisoning. Eat at your own risk

The previous owners left during COVID. It's new owners. Ever since then the food has been terrible. The sesame chicken was hard as a rock and the white rice tasted sour. I thought it was just a bad day, so I went again. I put in an order of steamed broccoli and orange chicken. I'm waiting there a hlf hour, until I learned the cashier never put my order in. She put a new order in. When I finally got my food, the chicken was cold and the broccoli drenched in some kind of thick oil! Two and done!

Dissatisfied with the food. Mushy general tso's with no flavor. Fried dumplings were odd and disappointing. The egg rolls were passable? With so many better options in the area I would not recommend this place.

Lunch special is the beat deal downtown. Lo Mein and pepper chicken and beef and broccholi was tasty for three meals. Friendly and quick.

Wish I had read more reviews before ordering from here. All the food we ordered had a strange burnt oil taste. Definitely not a place a would recommend to others. Felt like I wasted money on food we could not enjoy or finish. We ordered the fried chicken with pork fried rice, egg drop soup and dumplings. The chicken, rice and dumplings were all very dry snd tasteless. Dumplings had a very thick grainy wrapper verses a very thin smooth texture one expects to get. The rice was very dry and had overpowering oil taste to it. Chicken was over cooked and burnt. Definitely suggest going elsewhere.

I normally don’t post reviews, but I tried this place yesterday with their general tso chicken lunch special and got food poisoning. I am still ill as i type this. You’re better off just not risking it.
I usually don’t write reviews but this was very disgusting behavior. I order from here all the time but the last few time weren’t up to par from the food lacking or them forgetting items. Tonight I ordered $60 worth of food!!!! the driver didn’t speak English and wouldn’t give me my food because I didn’t have cash. I waited outside with him for 20mins trying to tell him the store said I can Apple Pay. In the meantime I’m calling the store no answer I called over 6 times, I asked him to call he kept ignoring me, on the 7th time calling they answered rudely “yes yes yes” and I put it on speaker, told her the situation. She spoke to the driver so he could understand. I told her my frustrations because then he was having trouble with the machine. They were very rude , my food was cold when telling the store they hung up on me and told me they food fine bye and didn’t apologize for the whole ordeal. Very sad seems management is not doing a good job at all. Will No Longer Be Supporting This Business!!!

The food is consistently well prepared and thoroughly enjoyed by my family and I. We are a picky bunch. Capitol House is our go-to delivery Chinese restaurant. If there is a better Chinese restaurant in Albany, I have not encountered it. Egg rolls, fried rice, chow mein (onions/celery/cabbage in a clear sauce with crispy fried noodles on the side; not that greasy pasta dish some restaurants sell as "chow mein"), General Tso's, fried chicken wings...all highly recommended. And I don't feel like I've been given a sedative after eating the food here. I'd post some pictures of the food but we ate all of it.
