Small family run Mexican restaurant. Everything made fresh and authenticate versions of classical Mexican dishes. They can accommodate gluten-free versions on several items.
Great people, great selection, great price
I had the pleasure of trying the Marisco and Menudo, and it was absolutely fantastic! The fish was perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of spice to bring out its incredible flavors. The broth was rich, flavorful, and seasoned to perfection, making every bite satisfying. The portion size was generous, and the price was excellent for the quality and taste. On top of that, the customer service was amazing – the staff was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back for more and highly recommend this dish to anyone craving authentic, well-prepared seafood and soup!
Great huevos rancheros, and I look all over the Capital District for them.

The food is amazing and I will go out of my way to go back again. The only unfortunate part is that there was hair in a couple of the dishes, so hopefully they can pay close attention to this and correct it immediately.

Probably the best Mexican food i have had in the Albany region. Helpful staff, delicious and authentic food, and a charming atmosphere.

Sadly the Mexican rice and beans both contain chicken bouillon. The black beans are also meat based and not vegetarian. We had called them in advance and confirmed but clearly Albany is not up to vegetarian dietary specifications. The people who work at Cielito Lindo, from the front to the kitchen staff are superb, genuine and extremely sweet.
Vegetarian options: There are no real vegetarian options here. This is not a vegetarian friendly restaurant.

A small restaurant with big charm and even bigger flavor - yum! I highly recommend anything made with their mole sauce, super tasty. We're definitely going to be regulars!

Very good customer service. We did not dine in but we waited inside for food. I was able to ask question of the young cashier and she was able to understand my questions and make recommendations on food. I even tried this condensed milk drink I saw other customers having. It was great. We will be back.

Legit great food. I wish I took pictures. This place will definitely be on rotation. I had a banging burrito . It was so filling. This was Hispanic homecooking in a restaurant. Did mention their burritos come with fries! Like wow! The hot sauces were definitely ?! You look heat the help you with that.
