I tried this Mexican restaurant for the first time and really enjoyed my drink—it was well-made and refreshing. I can’t say I fully enjoyed the meal I ordered, but to be fair, I think it was more about me trying something different that didn’t quite match my taste. That said, the quality seemed good overall, so I’m definitely open to giving them another try and exploring more of the menu.

the waiter asked me to “say it in English” after I asked for a specific tequila that’s in the menu…. it’s the name of the tequila, there is no “English” to it and this is a Mexican spot, why don’t you know the tequila you carry.
On top of that, he came back letting me know that their options are limited. Okay.. why is it in the menu then. Also, he didn’t say what options they had or what other tequila (blancos) they could substitute for.
Yes, I have a slight Spanish accent but I’ve lived in New York all my life, so this was just blatant ignorance. I don’t think I’ll be coming back which is unfortunate because I think the drinks and food are great.

The food is simply awesome. Lisa had a quisadillia with portobello mushrooms, side of rice lettuce, and tomatoes. I had a bowl of outstanding chili and a tex- mex enchilada with beef, pinto beans, 2 types of cheese, wrapped up with onions, peppers, lettuce tomatoes just simply awesome!! The bathroom is small, the music is Pandora.
