Ideal location to break out the laptop, sip on a latte and people watch outside.
So glad we stumbled into this lovely cafe in center square! We met the owner and her husband, both extremely kind and welcoming. We had a matcha and Turkish coffee which we both enjoyed. The pastries are homemade by the owner’s mother, the baklava and almond chocolate croissant were both delicious and fresh. We can’t wait to go back again! Highly recommend.

The homemade pastries are outstanding, including baklava and savory options like spinach and cheese borek. Customers appreciate the friendly and passionate staff, along with excellent service. The cafe stays open until 8pm, making it a great place to gather with friends or enjoy a cozy evening with hot chocolate or tea, especially as winter approaches. People bring in chess and backgammon games, and the background music is pleasant and not intrusive. The Kurdish tea, brewed differently, has a smooth taste, and the cold baklava, stored refrigerated, is a unique and delicious treat. The outdoor tables are a nice feature, though smoking nearby can be a concern. Overall, Java Cafe is a clean, friendly, and welcoming spot with a cute atmosphere, open seven days a week, and a perfect destination for coffee lovers and remote workers alike.
