Delicious food and a warm atmosphere. The staff treats everyone like they have known them for years.

Not the same as it was back in early 2000's. Food is not up to par. Service employees seem to be lacking the enthusiasm and friendliness this restaurant was once known for and managers simply don't care! Sad to say, it's time to close the doors!

More like a solid 3.5. Super homey, cozy place- it did remind me of my Grandmother's house. It was decorated festively for both valentine's day and for president's day. The waitresses are friendly, no-nonsense, and kind to the regulars (not us) as well as the visitors (us). The Grandma's Fries were amazing- thick cut wedge potatoes, fried crisp, topped with cheddar and crisped bacon. Delicious. The french onion soup looked good and hot, and the kiddo finished it. The cream of turkey was very very thick and a step above lukewarm. Kiddo's grilled cheese with tomato and bacon looked amazing. J and I both got the open faced turkey sandwich. The turkey was very mushy, and the gravy was very sage-heavy, to the point where the gravy was more green than brown. The cherry pie was great- super flaky crust. The swiss chocolate almond was weak- mostly whipped cream instead of chocolate The Dutch Apple was good but nothing to write home about. $65 for 3 meals, one soda, three pie slices and the fry app.

Charming restaurant with great staff and amazing comfort food. Our server, Amy, was amazing. Very friendly and attentive. Love the decor. If you want a life changing experience, try the pot roast with mashed potatoes. The gravy will change your life. I could drink it!

I just called to place a lunch order for my staff and the girl told me to call back closer to 12 bc she would forget to put my order in. ???? Im so confused as to how this is normal to say. This is the second time I’ve tried to order here where the waitstaff answering the phone was so rude. Idk what I’ve done each time to piss her off. I called early bc last time our order wasn’t ready and we decided to take it cold and heat it up ourselves. I figured calling ahead would help. So frustrating.

I can't find enough great things to say about this place. We had a big group eat here and our waiter was amazing. He was friendly and fun. I wish I could remember his name. The food was great and the prices weren't bad. Now, I had a slice of raspberry pie and let me just say, we live 2 hours away from this place and I would make the drive just for the pie!

WORST BOSTON CREME PIE EVER. I get better Boston creme from a grocery store. The presentation was horrific. The frosting was very gloppy and not evenly spread the writing on the pie was almost not readable. And the worst part about it was that the cake itself was grainy and dry. I’d rather have a $1 table talk Boston creme then a pie from here. This grandma should retire.
