How many times as a teen did you sit at Denny's at 2am, eating cheesy fries wishing you could be a real grown up? Well. Real grown ups still watch to eat Denny's food, but they also want to buy a fancy blouse and a heavily bedazzled novelty toy for a toddler. Which would have been quite the conundrum for the diner market had the two needs not converged at the same conclusion: cracker barrel. Lace up your new balances sneaks, dad, it's meatloaf special after church on Sunday! Tell Gramma to bring her pocketbook for the knickknacks!

The "manager" rick is extremely rude. We had a plethora of issues with our order (not the servers fault.) Shes understandably busy on a sunday. he left the check after arguing about egg cooking and as he was walking away he said "there's nothing else I can do for you." Its a shame that this place has gone this far down. I feel bad the servers have to work under such an arrogant poor excuse of a "manager". Needless to say we won't be back even if it's the last place open.

Waited for 20 minutes after being seated, watched 4 other tables get waited on. Got up and left, very disappointed. Let the hostess know on our way out.

Went there for the first time today and it was terrible… Table for two the server greeted us fairly soon. Cups were dirty. Then we waited over 35 minutes to receive a “strawberry mimosa”, all we ordered was a mimosa. It finally got to us with an inch of dyed powdered sugar sitting in the bottomless. The pictures uploaded is after the sugar settled ( i stirred it myself for about 3 minutes) wow Absolutely disgusting and horrible service.

This meal was an absolute blast!! What an introduction to Southern food! As non-Americans, we love checking out classic American establishments. This location had a crackling fireplace complete with guns and animal heads over the mantel, and we thought the Southern decor was so cute! Each table had a classic oil lamp, and we purchased a few themed souvenirs from the retail store.
The food was SO good and such great value!!! Yes it was heavy, yes it was a lot of calories, but so worth it for a treat! Our entire feast came down to about $40 USD and we were MORE than stuffed.
We ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken as our main - it came with three country sides, which we picked Macaroni 'n Cheese, Sawmill Gravy and the Fried Apples). The fried chicken was PERFECT, and the fried apples were sweet and filled with cinnamon, which paired well with the salty chicken. The gravy was interesting but a bit too heavy, and the Mac'n'cheese was standard - I probably wouldn't get these two again.
However, the sirloin steak tips (as a side) were the HIGHLIGHT of our meal! They were so juicy and seasoned perfectly with the garlic butter - plus they were way cheaper than a main and a great value for the price. Highly recommend!
Service was exceptional, and our server was really friendly. She gave GREAT recommendations (such as the Steak Tips!), and was really helpful when we explained that we weren't familiar with American cuisine and patiently walked us through all their menu options and answered our questions.
We will be back!!!!!

Line management in the country store is very poor, waited 10 minutes in line with some other folks just for us all to be redirected into another line when it was finally my turn to check out. Please put up a sign or have cashiers pay attention and direct the line. I walked out without purchasing anything, not worth waiting all over again.

Our server, Matt, is one of the best servers we’ve ever had at CB. He promptly greeted us, brought our drinks quickly, and served us our meal quite fast. He checked back on us regularly, not too much, just right. Nice sense of humor, very attentive, and kind. He was a delight.
Our Friday fish fry was tasty. Unfortunately it has significantly decreased in serving size. The price has risen to $16.99. The carrots are always yummy, as was the coleslaw. The coca cola cake is a favorite. We were just disappointed in the higher cost.
We were tickled to find Hydrox cookies in the store. My husband prefers them over Oreo. Haven’t seen them in years. Also the life saver butter rum flavor is difficult to find. Plus found a great Highlight Easter sticker book for my 5- year old niece. Love the store.
Parking: Close to the store, plenty of handicapped spots, lot reasonably clear of snow and ice (big storm this week), well lit.

We had a fantastic time at this Cracker Barrel, we went for a late dinner and had fantastic service. Food was very good, came out fast, and was priced fantastic as well. We had the Chicken Froed chicken with lots of sides. The Steak Tips were our favourite - covered in garlic butter, would come back just for those!
The country store part of it was great as well, we’ll definitely be back!
