Josie's table is a fantastic quaint posh lunch or dinner setting. Very beautiful. Kind staff. Great food. I enjoyed a glazed fig ricotta dip and the butternut squash soup. Both are very light and satisfying. The soup had a hint of smokey paprika. The fig had pistachios and a hint of honey but not enough to overpower the light ricotta. See pics. I took home an order of hummus for dinner. This was heavier and densley seasoned with curry. There were lots of roasted veggies that were delicious. See pics. Truly can't wait to get back there.

We had such a delicious meal. We selected three appetizers for 4 people and felt that it was the perfect amount of portions pre-dinner. I ordered the ribeye steak and for the cost you really get a decent amount of meat! I ended up having leftovers. The cocktails were delicious and did not have too much of an overpowering alcoholic taste. The creme brulee for dessert was perfect size to split between the couples. Loved the atmosphere and ambiance. So thrilled to find a local farm to table restaurant!

The beef burger and the fries deserve the hype, best in class. Salmon burger was not great. Bread was not worthy of a charge. We were not offered dessert, so we don't know if we missed anything. Our table was aligned with a gap between two bench segments along the wall, so the seat was very uncomfortable. When the folks on one side left, we moved the table to sit more comfortably. Overall, despite the minor disappointments, we'd come back again if in the area.

The host was anything but warm and welcoming. We booked a table for six. When I arrived 15 minutes before the reservation I informed him that we had an infant with us in a stroller. He clucked disapprovingly saying I had failed to inform them when we made the reservation. He complained about how hard it would be to seat us. Except for the fact that I'd just flown in from Atlanta and my niece, her husband and five week old baby had just driven up from NYC and my son took the afternoon off from work I would have said thank you and left. But this was to be a family lunch and by golly we were committed. He did accommodate us reluctantly but his sour puss attitude sealed the deal that we won't ever be back. The food was fine. The host, not so much.
