Excellent, as usual. Best burger in Albany. Perfect sweet savory flavor. Pizza was outstanding as well as the draft beef. Great vibe and service. Will be back.

Our server, Oliver, was friendly and efficient, noting, after two of us had chosen the free-range chicken, that that was his favorite meal, briefly discussing the elements in a conversational manner which underscored the authenticity of his remarks. The two meals of chicken and one of duck were expertly prepared and served.

Although it was a nice ambiance, unfortunately, our waitress misguided us into taking the pasta special (pasta chicken dish with some type of soft creamy cheese) when we had expressed interest in another dish, but I got nauseous after a few bites and did not finish my plate. However, the waitress did not compte the meal despite sharing my experience and dissatisfaction with her; I was disappointed in that service.

Overall Food was very good, our server was excellent. Our issue was with speed of service. We sat down at 5pm 2 people and ordered drinks right away, when drinks were delivered we ordered both our appetizer and entrees. App took about 25 minutes to come out and our food another 25-30 minutes after that. By the time we received our entrees it was 6:20. We had to ask for the check when our server came over to check on us. We at and eventually left around 6:40. In my opinion it took entirely too long for both our app and entree to come out. Might seem decent but there were tables of 2, 3, and 4 all around us that sat at similar times or after us and were done eating before we finished with our appetizer. I would have given 5* otherwise.

I recently visited Josie’s Table and I was truly impressed. From the moment I walked in, I felt a warm, cozy atmosphere — this place really knows how to make you feel welcome. ✨The menu leans into farm-to-table and seasonal dishes, with fresh, organic ingredients, and I loved that you can sense how thoughtfully they approach each detail. 😋😍

Service was friendly and attentive, which made the evening even more enjoyable.

If you’re looking for a relaxed, tasteful place with real care for food and customer experience I highly recommend Josie’s Table. I’ll definitely come back, and I think you should too 🫶🏻✨

Excellent food in a lively atmosphere. Excellent beers on tap. Pizza was amazing! Simple beet salad with char on it was perfect. It was pretty loud when we were there, so tough for a quiet romantic date.
Second visit was even more impressive! Beef tallow fries and an amazing burger. We love this place!

Went for our anniversary which I wrote on the reservation. I don't think the waitstaff were aware. However, the waitstaff was excellent. Food great, Ambiance pretty lively. Felt that delivery of food was a bit frenetic-our waitress was not the one who brought the food and she seemed unsure who had one meal-not only at our table but with other diners getting the food for another table. Will go back again

This is the restaurant that took over Provence. Second time I’ve been here and the food quality is excellent. Limited options, but the food is so good you’ll want to go back. Best to make reservations ahead of time.

Reservations are highly encouraged. They have outdoor and indoor seating. Food was fresh and ok. The pizza I hear is a hit. The deconstructed Mexican street corn was delicious. The best thing I ate actually. Burger was fresh but very dry. Dessert was good.

I ate at the back in June with 5 other friends, as we were visiting out of town. I searched high and low to find the best restaurant in town, and I had such high hopes but the place did not deliver. The food was ok but for the price I was expecting more

Our server was outstanding. He was prompt, knowledgeable and had a great personality. The food was terrific and the duck was to die for. The only complaint is the wine pours are only 6ozs. Most restaurants will have 6oz and 9oz choices. Wine list is also sparse. Overall great restaurant.

This is our second time at Josie's Table in 2 years. We had completely forgotten what our experience was like the first time so we wanted to go back and give it another try. From the moment we stepped into the lobby. Things seemed a little hectic. There appeared to be two hosts, but both were extremely busy and several parties had to stand and wait while they were tending to other things before checking us in and seating all of us. My husband ordered a straight up Tanqueray Martini...just gin shaken over ice. No garnish no additions, nothing. They brought with vermouth. It took longer expected to get the weight attention to ask for a martini the way he had requested it. Before the waiter took his glass and walked away he decided to point out to my husband, that normally people drink martinis with vermouth, which I think was highly inappropriate - telling a customer how they should drink their drink. My cocktail, which was a version of a cosmopolitan was very good. We ordered appetizers of oysters and a wedge salad, which seemed to take longer than usual to come to the table The place was very loud because there's absolutely nothing to buffer the sound. I know that's probably mostly an old person complaint but I just wanna be honest for those who have issues that is a very very loud restaurant. The dinners, however, we're wonderful. My husband had a pasta dish and I had roast duck. We really enjoyed our meals. In general, we thought the experience was mediocre. Not terrible, but not great. At times it had the ambience of a fast food restaurant, with staff scooting around the floor rapidly, and hollering things to each other across the floor. For the prices they are charging, I expected better. if you're only concerned is that the food is good then this is the place for you. If you're expecting anything more out of your experience, we'd recommend going elsewhere.
