The owners are vegan! They are constantly updating/increasing the vegan options. They have lots of menu items as others have noted. They also serve cake by the slice from Strawberry Snail baker, and they have daily specials which are sometimes vegan. The salad bar is also quite nice as an add on to a meal. We visited this restaurant in New York while visiting my son and his family. Our waiter was efficient and friendly and the service was good . The food was OK but not phenomenal. The prices are fairly high. With the tip it cost us $240 for four adults and one six-year-old. I didn’t like the atmosphere because they had TVs around so while the prices were high, the atmosphere was more like a bar.

I tried the Vegan New Age Bolognese at Lanie’s Café, and it was such a treat! The dish came with a side of fresh bread and a salad, making it a well-rounded and satisfying meal.

Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and full of flavor. I absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious vegetarian and wholesome option.
