Wasbt my idea to come here, ive NEVER it here, but never got around to leaving a review. WHELP been here 10 times in 3 years. Theres ALWAYS a problem. Either the service is good and the food is terrible. Or the food is great snd the service awful. Youll never get both good together. Tonight was no exception. I ordered buff chick sliders with bleu cheese dressing. Came out cold, and each slider had a pin prick of bleu cheese....except it wasnt bleu cheese. It was ranch. Wrong dressing, little of it, and cold. My friend ordered a bowl of chili. They forgot it so it came out as i was about half done w my sliders. He took the chili to go. I left the other two sliders uneaten. This was the worst visit. The other 9 have gone similar. I hope xgates can ditch this place and get a better chain in here. My friend in Danbury CT said theirs is bad too.

I'd like to start off this review by saying, ive been here before, honestly, really enjoyed it. Came back because of it. Will probably never come again. Let me set the scene, it was a wednesday night, no reason to be busy. 5 waiters, and a host. The host was the best part of our expirenece. As the reseraunt was dead, they stuck my (party of three) next to a party of 8, with 4 VERY loud kids. The whole place was empty, and i was sat right next to there. Now i appreciate this isnt the resteraunts fault for the noise, but there was no effort to move us as our waitress didnt appear for about 10 minutes for drinks. As she came bsck with our drinks, we ordered right away. One buffalo chicken salad, and two of the specialty honey pork tenerloin- one with honey sweet potato, one with sweet potato fries. This food took around 55 minutes to arive after ordered. Again, there were currently 5 tables sat, as we walked in. You wouldn't expect this wait, The waitress was no where to be found, so we couldnt even ask for a wait time. She seemed quite snobby, and was expremely unattentive. She went to go chat with friends before coming to us. Now i understand a wait, hut as the food arived, the salad was missing two key ingredients. The crispy onions, and tomatoes. The waitress said it wasnt missing anythjng, and we said, may we please see a menu because this isn't right (as weve gotten the salad before and got it again vecause of how enjoyable it was last time) After around 10 minutes she comes back, we point out the missing thibgs and she brings out two bowls with the onions and tomatoes. As if this wasnt enough, we were finished with our waters, she left before we could ask for refils and we were unable to find her. Continueing with the dissaster of food. The plates were huge, with the smallest amout of food possible in the middle. The tenderloin was hard, cold. there was so much sauce, it saturated through the paper and made half of the sweet potato fries soggy. After we had been done with our food for around 20 minutes, she is still no where to be found. we were slighty on a time limit to get out of the mall before our entrance closed. and she gave us no check, snd no box since she was too busy chatting with her friends. To maggies- i wish your waitstaff was more attentive, and took greater effort into ensuring a good experience.Kid-friendliness: Definitely

Service sub par...food AppleBees style food at premier pricing. The manager is non existent, I have had 2 bad experiences there. Their farm to table is not locally parsed, they use farms and business from CT with amazing local farms. 1 star for services and 1 star for food.

The food is terrible. I don't remember the last time I had a restaurant meal this bad. I ordered the California Turkey Burger on a gluten-free cheese bun. It arrived with very cold french fries, no avocado, and basically raw bacon. The bun was so hard and tough that I literally could not cut it with my knife. I have to eat gluten-free, so I've had a lot of GF buns over the years, and this was by far the worst. We should have just left when they seated us and said they were out of menus. How does a restaurant run out of menus?!? And at $43 for two burgers (before tip), it's expensive to boot. Do yourself a favor and go next door to 110 Grill instead; their food is 100x better, and they have awesome gluten-free options. Zero stars for Maggie McFly's. We won't be back.

The food was 10/10, the atmosphere was laid back and fun, & the location was prime.Stumbled upon Maggie McFlys after just casually coming to charge my car at the Tesla chargers right outside the mall. Decided to pop in for some lunch while we waited for the car to charge. We ordered an appetizer and 2 entrees. In addition to a milkshake and a soda. Calamari for the app, a grilled cheese and the gyro. Everything was delicious! Service was fine, and the food came in a timely fashion.

Service was a little slow at the bar. I think we were guests right in between a shift change . The place didn't seem overly packed. Only a couple other guests at the bar but the bartender took a while to greet us and instead of ordering a second beer, we just left since it took so long to get their attention.

I had to give it one star because I was ignored from the time I got there by everybody So I just walked out. That wouldn't have been bad, except for the fact that this is the second time that it's happened. Seriously, the two bartenders just looked right at me and then walked away. Maybe a little on the job training is in order. It must be nice to have so much business that you can just ignore customers that you don't feel like waiting on.

The service was bad. They didn't even have tea. There were no home fries but had French fries, there was no Alternative for pork..if you didn't eat steak or bacon you were at a lost. In this day and time there should always be an alternative to pork products. The chicken was greasy and had to send food back because it was not happy is understatement.Dietary restrictions: There are none

This is a restaurant where I dine in whenever I visit Crossgates. The food is always delightful, and the workers are friendly no matter if I'm with just one person or with a bunch of children. I love the lunch meals and typically have the pilgrim, yet I love trying out others. Make sure to try it out!

Only gave it 4 stars because our server, Mariah, was such a great server. She was so prompt, kind, respectful, and just made the experience very pleasant even when things out of her control were happening. We talked to manager about how great she was but I felt compelled to add a review just so she gets the recognition she deserves. She made what could have been a not great experience much better.
