The rice was mushy and the chicken had too much cartilage. The worst part was the brought me complementary shrimp for my chicken hibachi without asking me even though I have a shellfish allergy

Very nice restaurant. I think the fried rice needed more flavor but the sushi was excellent!!!
*Customer service needs work. The waitress was not friendly and very dismissive. This was our second time attending and we experienced the same attitude. Then she was staring, (you can tell) talking, laughing at us. I wanted to ask, what is so funny but I left it alone. She got the lowest tip and was arrogant to stare as if she was so offended!
Let's say, we will NOT be patronizing there ever again!

Staff was SUPER rude. Manager told my 80 year old father to "sit down" after he asked for a table for 4. Waitress followed us out to our car complaining her tip was not enough. Food was not hot and came out at all different times instead of all together even though it was just hibachi meals. If it was possible to give a negative rating I totally would have. ABSOLUTELY WORST SERVICE EVER!!

Parking: Busy shopping center

Kid-friendliness: Staff not friendly with kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely tight with wheelchair use.

Great service! Delicious food! They must have overheard that we were celebrating a birthday and surprised us with a free dessert and sang happy birthday!! It was a great experience...highly recommend!!

Impressive.  Sushi chefs' attention to detail is apparent.  The salmon, tuna, and yellowtail I had each enjoyed its flavor plain.   Melt-in-mouth consistency and fresh, flavorful plates and friendly staff make this among the best Sushi you can enjoy local to Albany.  Consistent in flavor, presentation, complex-order big-party attention-to-detail, and attentive staffing.  Not inexpensive.  Also not a place you can visit just once; once you try it, you'll want to return to try the other thing you could have ordered on your first visit.  Great all around, welcoming, comfortable space.  Recommended.

Also shown:  "salmon dream", four pieces of salmon sashimi rolled, seared on the outside, drizzled with a homemade sauce. Together with salmon roe. Cooked, raw, and roe- together- among the best flavors of salmon i've ever had.

This place is just great. I have eaten here several times and have had nothing but excellent food every time. I always get one of the soups or sushi. First rate, fresh, perfect.

Vegetarian options: All I know is my daughter is vegetarian and can happily eat here.

Parking: It's in Stuyvesant plaza. There's loads of parking.

My husband and I came here for dinner tonight and sadly had a bad experience. We ordered hibachi combo dinner. I ordered the filet mignon with lobster and my husband had the filet mignon with salmon. What we got was anything but filet mignon. It was tough, no seasoning, dry , randomly uneven cuts of the meat. The lobster was dry and tossed in soy sauce. The salmon too was dry which was also the tail piece of the salmon. For a $30 plate, we got DRY UNSEASONED , 3 florets of broccoli buried in nothing but onions as for vegetables. Honestly, I wouldn’t ever come back here and I don’t think the service matched the 20% gratuity we left for them.
Good luck if you think you are getting hibachi meals here. Save your $.

Went for date night here. Generally don’t write reviews but had to for this one. Service started off very good and then it went downhill from there. Service disappeared right after we ordered. The manager/owner idk who it was approached us to ask if we were done just 15 minutes after we started. The sushi itself was very sloppy. The cuts on Salmon Lover wasn’t done well and in fact there was no seaweed for a couple of cucumber hand rolls. The avocado rolls were very sloppy as well. We decided to not tip the place and right at the exit, we got heckled by the manager on not leaving a tip. He said it’s customary to leave a 15% tip and it’s not nice to not leave one regardless of how the food is. Went on for almost 10 minutes by the entrance. He said they expect all customers to leave a tip which is absurd. Coming from the service industry, I usually tip 15-20% but this experience wasn’t worth it. In fact, not sure why they expected a tip when it wasn’t mandatory, a tip is optional!!!!

Terrible service. Got yelled at for asking a clarification question for the menu. Worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Don’t come here.
