I feel like a special trip to Albany just to return to this restaurant. All food was flavorful and delicious and fresh. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Prices were affordable. I had ordered chicken and dumpling soup, collard greens (smoked turkey, spicy), Mac 'n' cheese, home fries, meatloaf (with red sauce), sweet potato pie.

The pork chops and southern fried chicken were as dry as could be. I enjoyed the smothered turkey leg. Collard greens and cabbage were drowning in water and very bland. The mac and cheese, yams and black eyed peas were amazing

Ms.Gwenn and Lil Gwenn are absolutely the sweetest 2 ladies in all of Albany. They make you feel welcome as soon as you come in the door. I loved learning about Ms. Lizzie and her amazing recipes which the family takes great pride in preparing just as she had. Nevertheless, the food is FREAKING AMAZING! Hands down the best Home Cooked Meal I've had on the road in last 4 years. And I've been coast to coast.Do yourself a favor and stop in for a meal, whether just passing through or you live near by, I promise you'll be glad you did and it won't be your last time visiting Ms. Lizzie's Kitchen.

The folks here were lovely people. Enjoyed talking with them. They have a huge selection for truck drivers and other wayfarers as well as plenty of space for families or events.

Ordered online to have delivered to my picky trucker at work. He was hankering meatloaf and I found this place online. Double ordered not knowing portion size and he messaged me saying wow new favorite. Amazing job. Very hard to impress him. He's def impressed will be ordering again for him.
