Great food, great service, eat here!
I had Pizza, Garlic Knots & Boneless Wings and they were Delicious.
We've been fans of Bella Mae's since we first tried it some months ago - Their pizza was great and their hot meatball sub was phenomenal - We were pleased and cautiously tried again and again they were great - and a bit more confident we did a third try - wow!! consistently outstanding - Then tonight we ordered pick up and our car refused to make the trip - a quick call and 15 minutes later our hot order was at our door 5 miles away - Their food is consistently well seasoned,...read full review

Bella Mae's Brick Oven is a take-out pizza place in Rensselaer, New York, having moved from its Sand Lake location. It is situated in a small strip mall and shares a parking lot. There is no inside seating, only an outside bench, but they offer delivery and catering, including half and full trays of Italian food. It is a family-type situation, named after the owner's daughter.
The pizza is absolutely phenomenal and amongst the best, with an impeccable quality. Pizzas are custom made to order in a brick oven, and they do not sell single slices to ensure freshness. Options include a Naples pizza, a deep dish pepperoni, a "Little Italy" tomato pie, and "the Sammi" pizza with garlic sauce, shrimp, sun dried tomatoes, roasted red pepper, and ricotta. The personal pan pizza has a pillowy soft dough with great sauce. Other excellent food includes the stuffed peppers special, the excellent chicken marsala Monday special with pasta and garlic bread, and sides like amazing potato wedges and mozzarella sticks. The owner bakes the eggplant instead of frying it for toppings and grinders, and the meatballs contain beef and pork.
The owner and staff are very friendly, providing wonderful service. The place is an absolute gem and the best pizza spot in Rensselaer, with many customers stating they will be regulars and will definitely be back.
