The food was excellent ( although expensive even for a steakbouse). The waiter was rude! Very abrupt like he didn't want to be there. Had to ask him 3 times for a drink, and he said 'oh you want it now ? Gave us the check almost $600 for 4 of us, and never asked if we wanted coffee or anything else.when I told him he didn't ask us, he YELLED' I didn't ask you if you wanted coffee?' Everyone in our party was taken aback by his attitude. It is a shame...
Bone-in NY Strip cooked perfectly as requested. Not the most tender cut but packed with flavour. I paired a Cremini Mushroom side and it added the 'mushroom gravy' that goes so well with steak.
Service was great. We had a great time at Ruth's. I will be sure to visit again the next time pass by Albany.
