Chef Alexson made me a wonderful meal!! I had such a great time. I would 100% recommend Sushi by Bou in Albany. Great atmosphere, love the speakeasy vibe! Sam, the hostess was so nice, made you feel comfortable as soon as you come in. Best sushi in Albany, for sure!
A ten star experience all the way around. Intrigued, but nervous about the price tag, we jumped at the opportunity when we saw a special deal offered.
It was well worth the full price. Every bite is something remarkable and special. Even bites I didn’t love were still clearly crafted with care and skill and I was glad to try them.

Most notably, he took my dietary restrictions very seriously. When I told him I had celiac disease and couldn't eat gluten, he carefully prepared my portions separately from the rest. He changed his gloves each time and made thoughtful substitutions to keep my meal safe.
