I loved the gourds & pumpkins on every table! I prefer chairs to benches but not a deal breaker. The warmth of the wood and burning fire was perfect for a fall evening, celebrating our 37th Anniversary! Everything was delicious! Limited menu, pizza's were popular & looked yummy. We had pimento macaroni and cheese, blu hall salad & a pasta dish with beef, lemon ricotta, & tomatoes!!! We rarely get dessert but had, apple crisp cheese cake & vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce & candied walnuts, again delectable!! I had a very nice citrusy IPA and my husband a pumpkin beer, Best yet!! Would definitely return & recommend!

Good drinks and the pizza surprised me! Great drink selection from mixed drinks to beer selection. The food that was coming all looked good and the pizza was great! Service was great!

Food was great, beer recommendations were on point, pizza was excellent. It was 100° outside so lots of fans but the beer was cold!

Amazing place, very friendly and welcoming with great service, great beer and some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten (we got the hot honey pepperoni)

Let me start by saying the food here is really good.

But here’s my gripe: no ranch dressing. None. Not for the salad, not for the pizza, not even for the wings. When I asked, the server just politely said, “We don’t carry ranch.” No explanation. Just no ranch.

You’re serving three ranch-heavy hitters—salads, pizza, and buffalo wings. All three are prime candidates for a dip of ranch. It’s not even a niche condiment. This isn’t me asking for some obscure artisan sauce; it’s ranch. The cornerstone of casual dining condiments. The great unifier of American flavor.

I still cleared my plate. I still enjoyed every bite. But I couldn’t help feeling like something essential was missing.

Would I come back? Absolutely. But I’ll be discreetly packing a travel-sized bottle of ranch next time. You’ve been warned.

Cool place. Good food. Great service. Wings were made with homemade buffalo sauce and were perfectly cooked. Bartender made excellent beer recommendation and made sure drinks were topped off as needed. Glad we came!

Absolutely impossible to try to book an event here. I needed a space for Saturday 4/5 & reached out to their event manager, Kurtis back in February. He told me the room was available & I immediately emailed him back to proceed with a deposit & decide on catering options, then got completely ignored until the last week of March saying it’s still available. I still had no venue booked yet, as I was having trouble finding a space - he has yet to respond it’s 4/1. His excuse was my email got lost in spam, however, I called him 5 times leaving messages & emailed him multiple times trying to reconnect. I’m truly disgusted with this experience and will never support an establishment that will willingly string people along. As a business owner myself, I would be appalled to staff people who treat people willingly to give business this way.

Reviews were right on point. Poor service. Small menu, half was pizza and it was “sold out” at 730. Ordered a draft beer, wrong one came. Drank it anyway bc our waitress was no where to be found. Got our food and then took 10 minutes to get utensils. It could be a really cool place but they are poorly managed. Not too many options in Albany so they will survive. My recommendation is to look elsewhere.

The new limited menu is a bit disappointing because of the lack of options, but apparently it's a struggle to keep a kitchen running smoothly, but this seems to be the way in a post-pandemic world for some places. Beer selection is still very good. Service was fast, friendly, efficient. Reservation request was honored.

Food and brews/beverages are excellent. Prices are reasonable and service is helpful, efficient and superb!

Walk in with a reservation with 3 little kids, were not told there was a kids menu. Had trouble finding something for a 4 & 6 on the regular menu. Found out as we were finishing they had kids choices from the waitress at the next table. Prices on the bill were different from the menu. Twenty plus minutes to get the bill. Slow service, won't be back.

Absolutely terrible communication. I had to beg them to book a small event. Emails and calls ignored for weeks. Not sure how they book any events at all.

We stopped at City Beer Hall before heading to a concert to eat a light dinner. The 3 of us ordered an appetizer to share, two salads and a sandwich meal. The appetizer never came which we mentioned when our food came. At that point, we declined it. I wasn't thrilled with the large wood picnic table setup and finally the Ladies Room was completely out of toilet paper. (?!) It was my first time there and I would probably go back to give it another shot because the food was pretty good and it's close to downtown concert venues. Also, open Sunday.
