I wanted to like this place so much but the food was only slightly better than an Applebee’s (we ordered a wide variety of dishes) and the service was slow and unprofessional. Would however def go back for the roasted potatoes and another cocktail! Good in between place if you’re trying to kill time before getting dinner elsewhere.

Awesome place and an excellent happy hour. Have their own parking lot which is also helpful. Brussels sprouts were good! Both the bartenders were named Will and they are both friendly and make nice cocktails!

Great place. Alot of the younger crowd. But then again I was there on a Saturday early evening. 4 bouncers. That was great. I was wondering if they had anything in the works for music going forward. There were great acoustics in there. Love the barrel tables. I didnt eat there either. The outside lights welcome you and not living far from there, I am looking forward to going back!,

Very impressed. The service was exceptional and the food was great. We started with the Manchurian cauliflower which was unique and very good. My wife’s burger was well seasoned and cooked as requested. I had the catfish sandwich and loved it. Both came with fried fingerling potatoes which were perfectly cooked and not at all greasy. I only hope next time I come I can try the duck bahn mi because they were out last night. Fortunately our server guided me to that awesome catfish sandwichParking: There is a parking lot next to the restaurant which is reserved for patronsWheelchair accessibility: The entrance from the parking lot is accessible

Stopped in for a date night with my wife on Saturday. A show just let out so there was an influx of people all at the same time. The wait staff did a tremendous job of getting everyone seated and drink orders going. It was a bit slow getting going but the staff were super attentive to let us know they'd be right with us. We started with the clams and the catfish tacos. Both were delicious and served fresh and hot from the kitchen. Main course for my wife was the filet which she said was fantastic. I had the double smash burger which was very good. We shared the chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Great experience and we will definitely be back for the great food and friendly service.

This was my first sit down meal at the Copper Crow and it was a great experience! First went here during Oktober fest, and just came back for dinner with friends. The inside is stunning and the food was delicious! I had the reuben and it was the best cornbeef i've ever had!!

I've visited the Copper Crow for cocktails and dinner twice in two weeks and my experience has been fantastic. I've ordered the Wandering Cowboy , Risotto ai Funghi , Crab Tower, and Rage cheesecake. Everything has been delicious and the service is excellent. The bar service is especially good. I like their beer selection and the cocktails are quite robust! I plan to visit again soon.

The entire dinner service was great. Everyone was quite personable and friendly. The food was delicious, good portions and beautifully plated . The music chosen for last night was perfect and we even commented to the owner who came by to check on us.

We've been to The Copper Crow many times, most recently last night. As always, the menu is widely varied, the dishes are creative and well prepared. I'd rate the food, overall, as very good to excellent, varying in that range by the diners' choices. Our server was terrific. Now for the bar. Cocktails are spot on. The beer choices are vast, with ABVs from zero to over 12%. Sadly, however, wine list is short and the wines are unappealing. Ordinarily, the solution to that problem is simple: if you're into wine, bring your own. Inexplicably, however, for the first time since The Great Flood, The Copper Crow now imposes a corkage charge — to which I don't object — of $50 per bottle — which is OUTRAGEOUS. Just for your information, that's more than double the corkage that any other mid-tier restaurant in Albany would have the chutzpah to impose. My guess? Unless the corkage is reduced to $20 or less or the wine list is hugely expanded with good options at reasonable prices, The Copper Crow may gradually become less a dining venue and more a burger-and-beer bar. That would be a regrettable loss.

Great service and great atmosphere. The drinks are fine. However the food is not good. I think the menu doesnt really have an identity and try to do too much but having that many different types of food and not making any one of the things good is not a great idea.

Glad we had 7 pm reservations on the weekend because the place was hopping when we arrived. We kicked off our dining experience with the generously proportioned Wonton Rolls, though they left something to be desired. The rolls, unfortunately, were somewhat bland and lacked the anticipated crispiness. The accompanying sauce, rather than enhancing the dish as an adjunct, felt more like a necessity to elevate the overall flavor profile. The main courses, The Dry Aged Pork and the Wandering Cowboy (ribeye steak) left much to be desired in terms of flavor. Despite their ample servings, both meats leaned towards blandness, missing the opportunity to captivate the palate with a more robust and savory profile.Just as hope wavered, the dessert arrived, rescuing the meal from the abyss of mediocrity. The apple pie was more of a Apple fritter donut like dessert, but it was a delightful conclusion to an otherwise lackluster dinner. In addition to the culinary lows, the service, although commendable, had its drawbacks. The waitress, though friendly, seemed overly eager and brought out the dishes with surprising promptness. While efficiency is appreciated, the rushed service detracted from the intended leisurely dining experience. The overall impression was further dimmed by the underwhelming performance of the cocktails. Sadly, they failed to deliver on the establishment's promise of expert craftsmanship, tasting more like commonplace concoctions found in any bar.In summary, The Copper Crow presents a tale of mixed experiences. The dessert stood out as a favorite, and we appreciated the nice food proportions. However, the lackluster performance of the appetizer, pork, steak, and uninspiring cocktails created a notable imbalance. Despite the friendly service, the overall taste of the food falls short of inspiring a return visit, compounded by the rushed manner in which the dishes were served.
