“Jack and Ken’s Breakfast review took us to Alden, NY. Kind of a drive, to Marie’s Family Diner. Alden is a cute little town and you can tell that the diner used to be a bar. A friendly vibe hits you as soon as you walk through the door. The coffee was hot and delicious. Our waitress Ashley was the bomb. Friendly, funny and efficient. Breakfast was AMAZING! We had a difficult choice, the menu is extensive and we all wanted to order 5 different things. I ended up withe a HUGE Bacon Cheeseburger Omlette and hash browns and a side of the BEST Homemade Corned beef hash EVER! Ken had some Egg Nest thing with smoked Polish Sausage. Stephie had Eggs and Homemade hash, she loved it too! Ken paid for a Veterans breakfast and they let us hang an Alex event poster. This breakfast was NOT 5 ⭐️s. It was 10 ⭐️s !!! You HAVE to eat here !! They also have authentic German and Polish food nights during the month. Check their FB page for dates. This was the BEST breakfast since we started doing this. “We arrived without a reservation on a very busy Saturday evening for dinner. Seated in a timely manner. Staff was pleasant, courteous and professional considering how busy the Inn was. We were served our dinners within a short wait time. Our meals were served in a pleasant and appetizing presentation, everything was prepared nicely and the tastes to everything was very good. The appearance of the Inn was neat, clean and organized. Thank you to the entire staff for making our dinning experience at the Countryside Inn very enjoyable.“

“Have not been to the restaurant side since Anthony took over ownership. It has a completely different vibe! The food may seem like what you have seen on a menu before, but their take on it is absolutely fabulous! I have never had a clam chowder like the one served here. It is amazing! I would return for the clam chowder alone. The sweet potato fries may look typical, but their taste-like nothing I have ever had before. Not sure what their secret seasoning is. The wings rock. We left with doggy bags because we didn’t want to waste any of the delicious food! The chicken piccata, chicken Parmesan- might want to consider sharing! If you have been here before 2023 and been disappointed, you need to revisit! Trust me! And bring even the most finicky of your teens! They will be happy as well!“

“My boyfriend & I came here for dinner while on an overnight in East Aurora. Outstanding food and service! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and even changed the channel for us on the TV closest to us. The Kobe beef burger was phenomenal! Highly recommend. “We reached out to The Hollow just a few days before our Celebration of Life event and they were very responsive and willing to host us on a day that they were normally closed. They set up a wonderful buffet and attended to our needs throughout the event. There was an abundance of food and it was delicious. We were so pleased that we could spend time with family without worrying about a thing.“

“Easily the best wing spot in Buffalo. The wings are always perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the blue cheese is sweeter than most but not as sweet as rooties. “Dinner on a Saturday night for 4, glad we made reservations as it seemed to fill up fast. Service was friendly, but a bit hands off (Did not get offered any refill of water after a 1st glass). Complimentary bread service was decent and served alongside the soup/salad that was included with most entrees. Others said the house salads were quite impressive. The Rosa sauce was a highlight. Chicken and veal parms were well received, as was the eggplant. Whole group got lukewarm pasta, but luckily we had filled up by that point and just left it for a doggie bag. Tiramisu for dessert impressed the group - worth squeezing it in!“

“Food was very good. Beer was cheap. Service was extremely slow because someone was not so brilliant in scheduling the bar tender to handle the bar and outside dining area. Waited 30 minutes to get a drink, which was brought to us by the host. The head waitress finally waited on us. Must have had a rough day basing on her cockeyness. If I were the owner I would put some patio heaters out, now that is getting cool outside.“

“Dominique always greets me with a smile. She always says my name and ask how I'm doing. She is the perfect Mighty Taco employee. All the employees there are professional and make very good quality food. The culture of this store has done a 180. I had two Mighty tacos hot with sour cream last night and they were so good. I came back today and had the same thing and they were just as good.“
