This review only has to do with the doubles. I was looking for a place to eat, as I was leaving Montauk and saw the restaurant doubles. The reason I had to stop in here is that I have a house in Trinidad and could not believe there were doubles (Trinidadian street food) at the end of Long Island. I must say, I was skeptical, but the doubles was really excellent. There was flavored bara which also had a great crisp to it. The Chana was really tasty and the sauces really great.
If you have never had Trinidadian food, let alone Trinidadian street food, you really should try this !

Great food! Highly recommend the chicken and potato roti, smash burger, and doubles. The hot sauce has a real kick from the scotch bonnets

We did take out so I don’t know how the restaurant is itself but the food..omg!! Doubles was the best thing I ate during my whole vacation in Montauk. I highly recommend it. The chicken platter was okay, kind of dry.

EDIT* ORDER ARRIVED AN HOUR AFTER DELIVERY TIME.. AND COLD!! Please explain why we placed an order and an hour later still no delivery, phone off the hook, and now closed yet you took our money?? We love your food but your takeout system is extremely flawed. Why take orders if you cannot fulfill them?

Food was underwhelming. I think they forgot to put seasoning in the curry. My wrap was $20 Way overpriced.

Really delicious food at the mini boutique mall in Amagansett. If you’re looking for something flavorful and non-American in this little strip, this should be your stop.

The Chickpea Roti was spiced great and didn’t have any dry chickpeas. Hot sauce was a must. It’s in burrito form so it may get messy.

The Freddie Bowl was also good. I found the pumpkin to be a bit too sweet. If sweet and savory is your thing, this is your order.

Will come back. Probably one of the only non-white restaurants / menus in a 10 mile radius ?

Expensive but good food. Kind workers who unfortunately are stuck dealing with terrible rich and rude hamptons tourists in summer months.

The Doubles being served are bigger than your normal Doubles served in Trinidad and many North American roti shops or bake shops. The ingredients are good, flavors are just right but the only takeaway is the price point.

$12 US which is $81 TT for just one Doubles.

I'm thinking it could be the most expensive doubles in the world, who knows.

Other than that it is worth another try. I just wish they had Red Solo (Solo Kola Champagne)...
