Planned on going to the winery but it was closing so cancelled it for this trip. But heard it was very nice- the drive alone was worth it

Found this place today and had a great wine and cheese tasting! Doesn’t seem like much from the outside so we almost didn’t go in, thankfully we did. We had our small dog with us and worried we would get turned away because it is an indoor tasting room, the gentleman behind the bar welcomed us with open arms. He provided a great deal of information on the property and the wines we were tasting, of which there are 9. All of them were very good. I especially loved the lighter bodied reds and the dessert wine. We had so much fun and would love to go back.

Small but cozy. Jeff was great. Good wine and lovely local cheeses.

Wonderful setting, wonderful wines. Also, wonderful menu of food grown locally. The staff are friendly and interested in your experience at the winery.

Charlie is so nice , what a great family friendly spot . Ribs were fantastic , so nice to see an owner operator care so much about his craft and work so hard. Thanks again for the great lunch ! -Geoff, Christina & Madison

I had a bottle of a red blend that I opened after buying it from them at the Saratoga Farmers market a year ago. The alcohol had completely converted into sugar by the time we opened it and all we could taste was something like a combo of vanilla extract and blackberry jam. Disgusting. None of us will ever buy wine from them again

Mouth-watering locally sourced gastronomy in a rustic yet comfortable setting. Live music (jazz and folk) on certain nights during high season (mainly summer), and wood-fired gourmet pizza on Saturdays during high season. Unfortunately I do not drink wine, so I cannot report on the quality of Cascade's vintages, but local microbrews are available.

So I really wanted to love this place. We started with a tasting. Small room. Very cozy. The gentleman doing the tasting was very nice. They don’t really grow grapes there they blend juices from other vineyards in NY. The wine was tasty. We then went up to lunch. Decided to sit outside. We tried the cheese platter. Roast chicken and small pizza. We ordered a bottle of white. The waitress was adorable. As we were eating I was stung by my eye by a yellow jacket. The waitress was great. Got some ice right away. I realize this is not there fault however they knew it was my birthday. My eye swelled up and we decided to pay and leave. When we got the check we noticed the wine was not on there. My husband asked if they gave us that because of the bee sting or my birthday. Nope they just forgot to add it on! So I was a bit surprised that given the situation they didn’t so much as offer a glass of wine on the house. They have a nice place there but how about a little customer service? The food was good. Service was good. Grounds are lovely. My rating is for the lack of caring about the situation. Good thing I’m not allergic. They really need to address the bees all around the deck. I’m sure this isn’t the first time.

Great place. Been there a number of times. Stopped in for a case of Summertide. Got hungry and split ribs and swordfish for lunch in their beautiful outdoor area. Yes it is off the beaten path but well worth the visit. Will be back after we kill the case or maybe for some music.

What a breathtaking sight. Set atop the mountain with views that you will remember for a lifetime. The owner, Charlie is so accommodating. The event we attended featured amazing music by Ian Flanigan and the wonderful night was to benefit the Northeast Community Center. The food was delicious and delicate with the coziest atmosphere you could imagine. Truly a must try hidden gem.

Very relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful country setting. Decent wine, and very good food. We loved the brick oven baked pizza and smoked dry rubbed ribs. Nice outside seating, friendly, not pretentious, and just --- good!
