I come here all the time and I love the food. It’s my second review for Athena. It keeps getting better and better. I chose to come tonight rather than eat outside on this beautiful summer night because the food is that good. No exaggeration here, try the spanakopita, Greek salad with lamb and filet Athena.
My wife and I have been going to Athena for years. We used to drive all the way from Queens. We now drive from Nassau. The food is always excellent. The humus is the best anywhere and that includes Greek restaurants in Queens.Owner is always friendly. Always busy. Does a huge take out business.
Been going here since I was a little kid as the go to for Greek food. Usually done take out. Well I went in the other night and tried their lamb shank special and decided to write this review. Service and food was absolutely phenomenal. Should've taken a photo, lamb was beyond tender and succulent. 10/10
