I was searching for a Jamaican spot for lunch, but accidentally arrived to this place, I was pressing for time..since it was during a lunch break, so i decided to just get it, and babyyy let me tell you!! The food was excellent, tasteful, and very filling!! They give a decent amount of food for the price!! Both my daughter and I enjoyed the food!! I will be going back!!

Ribs were outstanding. It was sweet and flavorful just like ribs should taste. Fried catfish was small and very over priced but tasted good. Bbq chicken was a bit dry but still tasted ok. All their side dishes were nothing to rave about and did its job. Place is very small and dingy with only one small table for 4 to sit. Overall the food was great, service was lacking (but got better when a tip was given on my first order). It's my new place for Bbq ribs.

I was sick for 2 days from this awful salty food. I use to go here years ago & my friend & I ordered Christmas dinner & it was good. So I decided to stopped by on Thurs. 1/18/2024 on my way home from work & ordered my regular: Turkey Wings (were tough as nails), collard greens (salty as heck), Mac & Cheese (not great but ok), & I never liked their cornbread (dry as a chip with no flavor). The Server gave me so much food for almost $20 I said well I’ll have enough for my lunch the next day. After eating some that night (which I truly didn’t enjoy),, I took the rest to work to pick over for lunch but it was only good for the garbage.I don’t know what this Owner is doing, but he needs to bring back the Sistas, the cooks in there do not have a clue…I’m DONE!I just heard from my friend that the Wyandanch place is just a bad…I’m sure they’re losing business & if not they definitely lost me.?? On to the Jamaican Restaurant.

Don't do it!!They Grints look like a lumpy BBL gone wrong, fried fish was oily AF, not fresh at all, turkey wings looking like roach legs ..going back in the am to get full refund!!Two Spanish ladies serving soul food?? Nahhh.. I tried to not give this place a star but had to give one star just to post this horrible review..Anyone saying this place taste like grandma is cappp'nn.

After my third messed up order I feel like I have to leave a review. There were multiple mess ups like fried chicken being bbq, green beens instead of broccoli, missing items, pink chicken, when they have there stuff together this place is great but its gone down hill! Cook your chicken!
This place is hit or miss. Last night was a hit! Whoever made the batch of mac n cheese and yams last night between 5:30pm & 6pm need to make it all the time! It was delicious! I also got the ribs. I was given too many fatty pieces but otherwise it was good.

ok so I've been here once . today would be my second time expect I didn't get the food I walked out . The short light skin girl with the curly hair was very rude & aggressive! not to mention she was yelling over the food . I'm pretty sure spit landed . The service was horrible. I do not recommend.

Two locations, one on Straight Path in Wyndanch, the other on Broadway in Amityville.Brooklyn Fish in Amityville is one of the spots used to set up at and sell my books. My favorite dish is whiting, yellow rice, corn and red beans, a slice of cake along with a bottle of ginger beer, ginger ale, or Arizona energy.If you're a customer you know what I'm talking about. If you're not a customer when you come through the areaand you're looking for somewhere to eat give Brooklyn Fish a try. You will not be disappointed.
