This Jamaican spot never misses! I’ve been coming here more often lately, and every visit has been a great experience. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and happy to make recommendations or let you try something new if you’re unsure what to order.
The food is consistently delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are honestly hard to beat these days. You get great quality food without feeling like you’re being overcharged. They even have homemade ice cream, which is such a nice bonus!
What really keeps me coming back is the combination of great food, excellent service, and the warm, family-like atmosphere. If you’re looking for authentic Jamaican food with generous portions and friendly people, I definitely recommend giving this place a try. I’ll definitely be back!
FYI. I have tried the jerk chicken, stew chicken and oxtail. All were good :)

If you are American don’t eat at this restaurant they are rude they act like they don’t want to serve you. They will serve any and every West Indian before you and act like you are invisible. Then the worst part of it all they will over charge you like it’s nothing every time. If you’re paying attention they will apologize and refund you. But enough is enough i think they do it on purpose after being over charged 3x it’s blatant. First time i went in there they told me a half of jerk was $18 next time it was $16 i didn’t get it either time. Then i went into there and the owner told me it was $12 and its been $12 since then. Then she overcharged me by $3:50 not the owner like her niece out some sort. I pointed it out she acted like it was nothing refund him his little $3 it’s only $3 that’s all. And she want even the one who apologized someone else apologized for her smh no accountability she didn’t even have the decency to apologize herself she just walked off. This is happened on too many separate occasions. I don’t think they like it respect Americans at all it’s almost the same energy at all of the Jamaican restaurants. Even my friends from high school who are Jamaican admit they recognize that their peoples don’t like Americans and can act really funny towards them inside of an establishment. I believei will cook my own jerk oxtail etc and try to only spend my money where it’s appreciated like American businesses because whenever o havea problem at any American business they are accommodating and if not you can call cooperate and they will accommodate. But these mom pop Jamican spots they don’t give a care about you your money your experience it even the quality of service you experience. They will tell you go somewhere else out don’t come back. And that’s exactly what i intended to do don’t come back to none of them ever again. Take your hard earned money else where these people do not like Americans and they show it with no guilt.

I ordered the Oxtail Mac and Cheese on 5/17/26. POSITIVE: There was plenty of Oxtail, and it was fall-off-the-bone-“ tender. NEGATIVE: The Oxtail was too salty, and the Mac and Cheese was too greasy.
TIP FOR CHEF: Please use only skim milk dairy products because oxtail itself has enough fat to make the macaroni creamy!

I got a small container of stew peas and the rude as staff overcharged me, and when I went back in to let het know, she would not fix the price. A small stew peas order is not $17 dollars plus tax…. But no worries I’ll get the money back from my bank. It’s the principal not even the price. I’m here all the time and she’s trying to overcharge me crazy

The food there isn’t good. The rice was trash the oxtail was a waste of time I’m taking flavor wise. The patties were good but I’m willing to bet they ordered them..im from queens i know good Jamaican food..you want good food in this area cook it..

Just moved out to LI from Brooklyn & was looking for good Jamaican food. Out of all the places I’ve been to, this is the best. I usually get the jerk chicken, jerk pork, or beef patties. Ox tail is also very flavorful. Good customer service and portion sizes. Now a regular spot for me
