I dined at the restaurant with a group of friends, and I had an absolutely dreadful experience, and I'm not exaggerating. We were promised fresh, Italian chef-prepared food, which could have justified the higher prices. However, the servers were distant, frequently rolling their eyes and audibly sighing. They delivered the bare minimum and added a 22% tip on top of taxes. The meal was disappointingly mediocre; the pasta was both sticky and tasteless. What's more, they refused to accept coins, insisting on bills only, and made us consolidate the bill into a single payment. In my view, it's the absolute minimum to properly accommodate a sizable group of people spending in your restaurant. When it came time to pay, the server appeared annoyed as we divided the bill, even shouting in Spanish. In short, I would recommend saving your money for a restaurant that truly deserves it.

I went to this restaurant in october with my class. We had a trip to New York and the travel agency sent us to this restaurant since we had a good deal. When we went to the restaurant our deal we found online simply did not exist anymore. Also, the service was not at all professional. There was no welcome, no thank you, no have a good night. There was also a guy in front of the restaurant shouting for people to come in the restaurant. They also obliged us to give a 22% tip. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We had booked for a group. We were supposed to have a group menu with a group price. However, once we got there, we were told it wasn't possible. We were offered to eat à la carte, but it was much more expensive. The bill came with an imposed 22% tip! All this for very basic food and very very ordinary service, nothing more. We won't be coming back. On a personal note, I ordered lobster ravioli in which there was only lobster-flavored cheese. A rip-off.

Skip it!!! I went to the restaurant with other students on a school trip. Before arriving, a group price had been agreed with the restaurant. When we arrived, they were unaware of this request and made no effort to find a compromise. So we ordered on the menu. The service was not really good, and the waiters weren't smiling. What a pleasant surprise when we saw the bill. It was already impossible to pay separately, and the tips were added after the taxes !!!! We had no choice of taxes: 20%! This is enormous for the service we received and there was no way to negotiate with the waiters. Really disappointed with my evening.

So much fun! We stopped by the bar for drinks and apps and everything was wonderful. Fried ravioli, meatballs - all delicious! Taylor was our server and she was delightful! Such a hidden gem.

The door man/singer lured us in just after entering little Italy. The air condition was non existent where we were seated (near the out door entrance/sidewalk, but the food was pretty good. I'm not mad at eating here, but there may have been better options.

One of 30 or 40 restaurants along Mulberry Street. Very pleasant ambience. Most restaurants offer similar fare so watch for the house specialties. Had lasagna which was well portioned and filling for any appetite. House bolognese sauce seemed to be the fave of most around. Make sure to ask for the house made noodles. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Wonderful experience.

Friendly staff and good food. The portions were well sized and the meat quality was excellent. The staff were very friendly and not overbearing.

Very authentic Italian food. Pasta was al dente, sauces were robust, not salty or overcooked. Great bread and ambience. Each of us had a different pasta dish, my wife's gnocchis were fantastic. I would eat here again. Our service was very good. The only negative here is that there is a LOT of pot being smoked in the area which diminished the experience. Customers & staff should not be smoking where people are eating.

The hospitality was nice. Food was fresh and the drinks were good. We traveled from Michigan and I’m happy that we stopped here.

We came to this restaurant in little Italy in New York City with the hope of enjoying a fast, filling and affordable dinner. To be honest, the restaurant acomplished this perfectly. The food here is decent, but this is not the aim of this review, this review is one of honesty and human nature. But let's start with the food, that is, forgetable. The portions are quite generous, the pizza crust not home made, neither the marinara sauce that barely covered the pasta dish. But this was expected, and even though overpriced, did it's job in providing our bodies with calories to pass the night. This restaurant was meant to be forgotten by the next day. Now for the review, for the sad and sickening story of attempted theft and dishonnesty. When the bill came, tax was added as was a 20% gratuity with the toal of this added up at the bottom. Adding the gratuity is sometimes done and this is not the point. We used a large bill to pay and a lot of small bills were returned to our table, without the check. We counted our bills, counted again and noticed that 10 dollars were missing. Probably an honest mistake. We asked our waiter who took the money and disapeared for several minutes. He then retunred with the check that had seen it's total modified, by 10 dollars. How stupid do you think we are? We've caught you once, we are now going to pay extra attention to this check! After a short exchange, some quick maths and a ridiculous attempt to con us again, a "I must have made a mistake" was mumbled and after several long minutes, he returned with the correct change. Not so much as an apology was uttered from this man's or anyone else's lips. This is a truly disgusting diplay of dishonnest work and I dare not imagine how many clients have been conned by these revolting people. I add that we were a party of 4 with 2 small children and it makes this story only sound worse. If you want average italian cuisine, please go here by all means, it is not a bad restaurant, but count your change before leaving and remeber that the tip is included in the check!

We ate here after a whole day of exploring the city around 7pm. The food and service was excellent. Around 10:30 pm I realized I had left my purse there. I called the restaurant to see if they had it and sure enough they did. The next day I went and got it and was happy that my money was all there. Just so happy to see there are still honest people. I would definitely recommend this restaurant with experience we had.

The restaurant was not very busy but we went about an hour and a half before closing. The waiter was nice and our pizza was very good.

Extremely expensive for the amount of food they give you. Watered down ice tea. The Bolognese tasted like a plain meat sauce. Had to ask for more bread and water. Our waiter was probably the rudest I have had. They actually tacked on a tip for a table of 3 because they are afraid they wouldn't get tipped. That's what the waiter told us after we questioned what the $19 additional charge was. Plenty of better places to eat at. Won't return again.
