We always stop at Dairy Frost at least once when we're at the lake, twice if they have red or black raspberry :). Servers always greet you with a big smile and are always patient with the kids. It's so good that the kiddos (and hubby) don't mind waiting when the line is long.
My absolute favorite ice cream stand in the area. I can't get enough of the banana Mondays amd I'm so happy that the last couple of years they have started twisting it with chocolate as well as vanilla. Orange pineapple is my close second favorite... speaking of which, it's Wednesday today amd I need to go get some.
They rotate their soft serve flavors, so it's always a surprise what they have, but you can't go wrong with any of them. They also have a great variety of hard ice cream flavors (some homemade too!)Cash only, but worth the scenic drive for its warming staff, generous portions, delicious flavors and affordable prices. 4 cones WITH toppings = $15My favorite ice cream place to visit when I'm back upstate.
